*The French "Panpan" (nickname for Panhard) was so good than even the German forces used it! Excellent work CSM!*
Great work as always Jason! Thank you for mentioning my build of this kit too. I found it to be a very enjoyable project and, the more I researched, a rather interesting vehicle! I love your dusty weathering on the dark panzer grey. Beutepanzer are often plastered with crosses all over -- I guess the crews were rightfully worried about being in an unfamiliar ex-enemy vehicle -- and I like how you modeled that here.
FYI, I guess for other people who may build this kit, there is a metal barrel available from MicroWorld, number 35008.
I notice that a lot of ICM kits are also available from Revell. I just wondered who was first with these kits. I have just built the ICM Mercedes G4 staff car with 4 German figures but in my research I spotted another Revell version of this kit. The same with the 1/24 Model T Ford car.
I'm not sure the hairspray technique would work here. That's better for peeling or worn paint. What you're doing here is deposition of dust, and you've nailed it. Nice job!
thanky ou grait to learn :D
Mr Models is in Birmingham mate
😉👍
Good stuff
Brilliant build and the weathering is fantastic.
The Germans also used extra Panhards (Possibly from ones that were destroyed and rebuilt) for Railway Security. Some were also equipped with the ER27 Radios. They usually patrolled the railways in Platoon's 3-4. with one being a Radio Version.
Very nice recce cars these Panhards. Always remind me a bit of Allo Allo herr Grübers little Tank 😅 Nice job done on this kit, Jason! ✨👍✨
Great piece of work and interesting techniques.
Thanks for sharing your video presentation ❤😊
Great job really like how you put the dust effect.
Another great model
The weathering and such is perfect. Sometimes guys age and weather models too much, as if the vehicle had been in service thirty years or something. This is much more realistic. It looks hard used but not like an ancient artifact. 😂👍
There's a lot of original colour footage of these during the invasion of Russia. Panzer grey was nearly black which surprised me but either way the footage is worth finding.
Built the railway version of this as a diorama and do have the road version in my stash…. Loved the kit and icm do French and German crew for this model
Really smashed that eastern dusty look
lovely build Jason
Wow! Very nicely done!👍🏆
If anyone is interested, Australian Armoured Museum, Cairns, Australia 🇦🇺 have rebuilt video on TH-cam of the Panhard
I bought this one.German captured vehicl 🚙
Nice build, well done!
Great model build 👌
Great build.
Looks nice. Good job!
That is a great subject and of course awesome modeling. One of these days I will try my hand at armor. I will definitely be referring to your shared knowledge. Thanks!
Nice Video, Jason!
🤝🎥👍
