G-Code Program Header EXPLAINED

- In this video provided by @GCodeTutor Marc Cronin, we take a look at ways to layout the header section of your #Gcode program.
There are almost unlimited ways #CNC programmers can write the header section of a program. Regardless of the parts being machined on a mill or a lathe, the goal of this operation is to provide the operator with all the information necessary to set and run the program. Program headers should contain information such as the program number, parts name, machine type, cutting tools used, tool holders, tip information, starting pullout distance (if you are working on a lathe), and more.
