I am learning with them but I go to your site for confirmation after I interpret and I'm pretty close! it's strange, I have been seeing tarot appearing in movies, old ones and new ones. I completed a course with Biddy Tarot, who focuses on developing an intuitive relationship with the cards. I don't think my own interpretations are objectively "right" - I just know how the cards are speaking to me specifically. However you intend to work with the cards, that's how they'll work with you. In fact, many readers don't use reversals at all - in which case I'm sure their cards don't talk to them that way!
Of course with less cards there is less flexibility in the message received. But Major Arcanas are where we find the big life lessons, so I'm sure it would be fruitful in that way.
