Why does your video show about 5 different styles of aircraft that you refer to as being the Tempest, should there not only be 1? It goes from a delta wing, to a swept back wing then to a kind of continuous conard delta shape. I'm a little confused.
If they flatten to blend with the delta wing as showed later in the vid, then I am really impressed but I think that would be very difficult engineering and maintenance problems. I am hoping for the best from out friends.

EXTREMELY INACCURATE VIDEO. I REALLY DID HAVE TO LAUGH AT YOUR CRAZY EXPLAINATION OF THE EJECTION SEAT. WHAT DID YOU SAY HIGHLY ADVANCED, TOTAL RUBBISH AS AN EX RAF AIRCRAFT ENGINEER I CAN TELL YOU THE EJECTION SEAT WAS FIRST INTRODUCED IN THE 1940's AND HAS STEADILY BEEN INPROVED OVER THE YEARS BUT EVEN IN THE UPCOMING TEMPEST THE SEAT IS STILL BASED ON THE ORIGINAL DESIGN FROM THE 1940's. ALSO YOU NEVER SHOWED ALL TEMPEST OR GCAP, AS IT IS CALLED NOW. YOU EVEN SHOWED THE GERMAN, SPANISH, FRENCH RIVAL FCAS PROJECT. HOW DO WE MARK THIS POOR VIDEO ON THE TEMPEST ? 4 OUT OF 10.
They should fix a camera into the top and bottom of the jet and also use hologram technology so they can record the sky above when in flight and project the image of the sky above in real time just beneath the jet so it blends in with the sky and clouds giving it invisibility. Also they could use hologram technology to project images of dummy aircraft around them to throw off the enemy in a dogfight or bombing run right? I think my idea is awesome. Now someone will probably patent it, oh well. 😂 Imagine just 1 jet on a bombing run but projects a hologram image of 500 jets flying in formation 👍
The utterly ignorant , bitter cope comments made here are pretty funny. It’s a real project, partnered with Italy and Japan under the GCAP partnership. The model mostly shown is from several years ago and doesn’t seem to be carried to the latest iteration, which probably won’t be the final design either. Also it’s not due to replace the typhoon till 2035.
What people want to remember is the UK, years ago had the superb Vulcan bomber. If you look at fhe F-35 its just a pimped up harrier jet again another British invention
I'm looking at the costs involved, and then I'm looking at the Labour government looking at the costs involved, and then I'm thinking if this thing is actually realised and takes to the skies with the UK still involved, I'll be both surprised and delighted. After all, Labour's got more important things to do with the money - like ensuring train drivers wages are kept on a par with CEOs of leading blue chip companies, among many other things.
The hard thing to do is not to make a few very good 6th gen fighters but to make them affordable enough to be bought in sufficient numbers to be available in good numbers at the front line and thst when they are lost in ones and twos there is sufficient pipeline production or spare frames to gill the gaps. We havent lost more than a coule of F35s but they are a major equipment loss. We also cannot count on a post Biden presidency to be as helpful as an ally and weapons producing partner.
How stealthy could it be when it still has the rudder vertical tail in most of this presentation(there are other CGI without the rudder, so let us know which one UK actually means)? The CGI seems to show the engines are Turbo Fan, I wonder how it can compete with the TBCC proposed by the US NGAD and the just released Chinese two new jets which seem to have already been employed in one of them -internet named it "J50" and the ram/scramjet employed on the 3rd engine in the most likely called "JH-36"?
The stealth characteristics and engine type of the UK concept are still speculative, as the CGI varies. The presence of a vertical tail might suggest trade-offs in design priorities, and the turbo fan engines could indicate a focus on operational versatility rather than the advanced propulsion systems like TBCC or ram/scramjets seen in other programs. Final specifications will clarify the intent and capability.

Funny, Britain doesn't even have a fifth-generation machine, but it's still imagining a sixth-generation machine.
I wonder what the USA is currently hidding in the hangers
@@Forevertrue You are still at stage 1. 4 more to go.
The USA is the best in the world because Americans say they are the best. The USA has the greatest patriots in the world - they can wave their flags faster and longer than anyone else.
Meanwhile the f22 was planned to be retired by 2030 and replaced by ngad. It does not have 360 degree sensors and no HMD. After spending countless $$ they still could not fit the HMD under the canopy.
In turn ngad was suspended in 2024 as Sec Air Force Kendall was not satisfied with unit cost 300+m, it was not able to keep up with latest tech from CN and not able to handle CCA. ngad back to the drawing board with scope being redefined for tenders in 2026. Pure gold. 🤣
@@Forevertrue You are still at stage 1. 4 more to go 🤣
Why does your video show about 5 different styles of aircraft that you refer to as being the Tempest, should there not only be 1? It goes from a delta wing, to a swept back wing then to a kind of continuous conard delta shape. I'm a little confused.
There's been many renders of Trmpest over the past two years. A prototype is flying in secret in Australia
Because it keeps you guessing , which is what highlights China's as a tech demonstrator as it reveals the design in an early phase
Is it just me, or does it look a lot like the yf 23
Some people say it looks like the Su-57😀, but I don't think it resembles any design
一応日本では2025年の10月頃に次期戦闘機のための技術実証機が飛行する予定です。実証機なので完成型とは形が違うでしょうが、それに似たものが飛ぶでしょう。私はたった数ヶ月が待ちきれない。
I was hoping we'd have the 'cylon raider' shape by now.
It is so funny to hear this is a game changer. Like saying ok we are not even in the game today, but lets become a game changer.
with vertical tails is not 6th gen fighter
If they flatten to blend with the delta wing as showed later in the vid, then I am really impressed but I think that would be very difficult engineering and maintenance problems. I am hoping for the best from out friends.
… claims the ‘expert’
According to what has been announced by the United Kingdom, the Tempest is capable of using a V-tail design or integrating the tail into the aircraft's fuselage structure. This helps minimize the number of exposed control surfaces, reduces radar reflection signals, and enhances stealth capabilities.😁
No worry, after 2 to 3 years, revision of ppt will shown no vertical tail wing.
@@nshadow888 👍💯🎯 🤣
Why show the old model wing in CGIs after the comparison of old and new - and will it have fins or not? I like it without them, its even sleeker.
Looks beautiful, unique and very very dangerous. I wonder how long it will be before it is licensed to the USA and we have to buy from them.
The United States is also developing its own sixth-generation fighter jet project, and I think they won't need to purchase the Tempest.
Wow!
Calm down bud
@Jerrysmithelberry Ok Mr cool
@ look at your self in all caps you put a entire GCSE English test in your response to a video
In the simulation, why didn't you have THREE aircraft with each flag on each, so Britain, Italy and Japan
Looks good, got the missiles, got the engine, the rest will have a made in China mark and we can only afford a squadron of two aircraft.
Ashame they didn't build this back in the 90s when they originally entended to do so
If they had implemented it in the 90s, it might have achieved a higher status than the F-22 by now.
Imagine just 1 jet on a bombing run but projects a hologram image of 500 jets flying in formation 👍
A truly crazy idea, but I like it
@AirborneTitans Thank You 😅😁
wheres it made?
It’s not that you have to release a video to comfort yourself just because China has tested the 6-generation fighter.
The UK's Tempest project was launched back in 2022, my friend.
Bro china cant even have Taiwan 😂
@@AirborneTitans LOL! and only PowerPoint to show for.
@@thehum1000 How dumb are you?
@@AirborneTitans
Excellent PowerPoint presentation.
😂
It looks like a YF23 the one that lost out to the F22 I thought the Japanese were. Going to develop it!
Feels like everyone is preparing for WW3 💀💀💀
Hopefully, that will not happen
@@AirborneTitans It's scary. Because all the world elites are hinting towards it.
👍🍺 nice one UK🇵🇭
Thank you! Cheers!🍺🍺🍺
Will it stop small rubber boats.
I bet it never goes into production.
It looks more like a fifth gen fighter than a sixth gen, for a start sixth gen fighter doesn't have vertical stabillzers.
Whats the point, what sort of country are we fighting for? or are we just a mercenary army of the WEF?
Report again only when the prototype is flying.
I can't wait for the US to show their 6th gen which are truly be 6th gen unlike China and the loyal wing man program
Luxury fighter
What people want to remember is the UK, years ago had the superb Vulcan bomber. If you look at fhe F-35 its just a pimped up harrier jet again another British invention
Many people are still skeptical about British manufacturing technology, but I am not.
@AirborneTitans look at the Starstreak anti aircraft missile, the NLAW anti tank missile and the two new aircraft carriers
Labour has a bad record with aviation masterpieces. TSR2 anyone?
Looks like the YF 22 to me
In my opinion, the Tempest has a better design than the YF-23.
We also cannot count on a post Biden presidency to be as helpful as an ally and weapons producing partner.
and i thought the f-15 and the f-35 was nice but damm the tempest is sexy
I don't see anywhere in this video that it's flying. Only in simulation
Pretty sure this will never actually happen in a post Brexit Britain that can’t even afford to fill potholes in.
Still blaming Brexit for the UKs downfall? Lol, take a look around, it isnt Brexit thats crippling the country, Brexit was an attempt to change course but morons blocked that at every opportunity, including Boris and his lwft wing party of liars and criminals
13:25 im italian yes its British, but ita and Japan too. Sure ll be SUPER, 3 BEST COMPANY IN WORLD AND TOP 10 IN ARMY EVOLUTION CAN BE A SUPER JET.
LEONARDO BAE SISTEM AND MITSUBISHI HAVE DOZENS YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
Exactly, this project is a collaboration between countries, not entirely the United Kingdom alone.
China already has a couple.
2035 seems a long way away..
Ten years is not a long time for an important project like this.

Perhaps in the future, there will be a country that surpasses the United States in manufacturing technology. Could it be China?
