For the guides I actually prefer the "A guide to NCT [2020] : The Units (Part 1)" by CLKX Fiction. It's older guide but I think the editing style is less confusing and it gives good basics for the NCT system (also the next parts have good member introductions)
So I will try to explain it briefly so that you understand. Indeed, NCT as a whole currently has 20 members. They are divided into 5 subunits NCT 127 (127 stands for seoul's longitude) - They have 9 members NCT DREAM - (They debuted as the youngest nct group) 7 members 2 of which are Mark & Haechan also in NCT 127. So yes they are in both groups WAYV (nct group more based on China and they also sing/rapping in Mandarin. They can't have nct in their name due to some political issues I heard) - they have 6 members - NCT U (this is a rotating sub-unit, meaning it has no fixed members. An NCT U song can contain any of the 20 members, whichever fits the concept and song the most) - NCT DOJAEJUNG (3 members Doyoung Jaehyun and Jungwoo who are all also in 127, they also debuted together this year in this separate group) - All three are also still in 127 and they also make music with both groups. On Google you saw 10 members in the list with one of them named WinWin. He used to be in 127 but is now in WAYV. To make one more thing clear. You may come across NCT 2018 or NCT 2020. These are songs that all members of NCT promoted and created during that year. So this isn't another sub-unit, these are just all the members of that year on that particular song. NCT used to have 23 members, but now it's 20. The entire NCT initially had this concept of unlimited members. This means that they would continue to add members, but this stopped this year. NCT DREAM used to have this graduation system, which meant that when a member turned 20 (back than the Korean age), they would graduate from Dream and be placed in another group, but thankfully they discontinued this as well. The last 2 pieces of information may be too much to take in, so don't focus too much on that for now I'd say haha. guides could indeed come in handy and I would certainly start with that, although now, since the changes, not everything can be correct. I drop all the names of the members who are currently still in NCT and which group they. Everyone is placed in age order (per group btw) 1. Taeil - (127, also oldest of whole NCT) 2. Taeyong (Leader of NCT as a whole and also of NCT 127) 3. Johnny - (127 4. Yuta - (127) 5. Doyoung (127, DoJaeJung) 6. Jaehyun (127, DoJaeJung) 7. Jungwoo (127, DoJaeJung) 8. Mark ( 127, Leader of DREAM) 9. Haechan ( 127, DREAM) 10. Kun (Leader of WayV) 11. Ten (WayV) 12. WinWin (WayV) 13. Xiaojun (WayV) 14. Hendery (Wayv) 15. YangYang (WayV) 16. Renjun (Dream) 17. Jeno (Dream) 18. Jaemin (Dream) 19. Chenle (Dream) 20. Jisung (Dream, also youngest of whole NCT) A lot to take in hahha and you will in time, but I hope it helps :)
From my understanding, they're saying that they're so badass that all the "cherries" want them, and they can't be stopped no matter how many haters try to bring them down....
"Cherry Bomb" is the title track on NCT-127's third mini album, which came out in June 2017. At this point there are 9 members in NCT-127 -- Taeyong, Taeil, Johnny, Yuta, Doyoung, Jaehyun, WinWin, Mark and Haechan. Taeil is the oldest of all of NCT and he is currently 29 and Haechan is the youngest in NCT-127 at 23. However, if you want to know who is the youngest out of all the NCT members, that would currently be NCT-Dream member, Jisung, who is 21. Now you need to check out the dance practice videos for "Cherry Bomb", because I guarantee that there are parts of the choreography that you didn't even notice or weren't shown in the MV, that will impress you even more. NCT is actually known for their dancing, and they have a dance practice video for almost everything they do. You might consider pairing your reactions to NCT MVs with a reaction to the dance practice videos. Here's a little to help you understand how NCT works. NCT -- which stands for Neo (a pop culture term that means new/original) Culture Technology -- currently has 20 members. And the group right now as a whole has 4 sub-units -- NCT-U, NCT-127, NCT-Dream and WayV. NCT-127 is NCT's second sub-unit, which debuted in July 2016. NCT-127 currently has 9 or 10 members. This group is more of a fixed unit, so the member lineup stays the same most of the time. The 127 in this unit's name stands for the longitude coordinates of Seoul, South Korea, on a map of the world, which means it's 127's job to represent Seoul -- the birthplace of Kpop -- around the world. NCT is one of the most internationally diverse groups in all of Kpop. The members as a whole currently represent 8 different countries and they speak 7 or 8 different languages. For example, there are 9 native Korean members (*Taeyong, Doyoung, Taeil, Haechan, *Jaehyun, Jeno, Jaemin, Jisung, and Jungwoo), *Mark is Korean-Canadian, *Johnny is Korean-American (from Chicago), Yuta is Japanese, *Ten is Thai, *YangYang is Taiwanese but he grew up in Germany, Hendery is Chinese from Macau (China) and 5 mainland Chinese members (WinWin, Kun, Xiaojun, Renjun and Chenle). However, they all live and work in Korea, so everyone speaks Korean fluently. Plus, many members have attended international schools or lived abroad, so there are several members who are also *fluent in English, on top of speaking 2 or more other languages. NCT is a group that is constantly changing and rearranging its members and sound and we never know quite what to expect from them. With a concept that allows the members to rotate between sub-units, changing, adding and subtracting members depending on the concept and style of the group or song, you should never expect the same thing from them. You are better off always expecting something new, that somehow, also ends up sounding very much like NCT. LOL NCT is SM's attempt at taking over the music industry around the world. SM's original goal was to eventually have NCT sub-units representing every major city in every country in the world. They soon will be adding new members and creating a Japanese sub-unit. It has always been SM's plan to have world domination. And to that point, right now NCT-127 is the group that SM is using to try and get their foothold in the U.S. music market with all English versions of song like "Regular" and "Highway to Heaven" and collaborations with American artists such as Jason Derulo, as well as U.S. concert tours and promotional tours with the American media, etc. So, this year is NCT's 7th anniversary, but debut dates are different for any number of members because it all depends on when they were added to the group. And many of the members of NCT actually became recognized by fans even before debut because they were part of SM's pre-debut group project called SMRookies, so SM did activities with several of the members before they debuted. Taeyong (the leader of NCT and a member of NCT-U and NCT-127), Mark (a member of all of NCT's first 3 sub-units -- NCT-U, NCT-127 and NCT-Dream) and Ten (a member of NCT-U and WayV) and Lucas (a former member of NCT-U and WayV) are also members of the very first Kpop supergroup, SuperM, which is an SM group consisting of members from EXO, SHINee, NCT and WayV.
Aside from guides, you were talking about roles etc for members, I definitely recommend checking out each group's kprofile, it's pretty detailed on names, ages, sub unit, and facts about each member. It definitely helped me in the beginning in figuring out faces to names. 127 is one of my favorite sub groups aide from WAYV, a couple recommendations from 127 are 2 Baddies, Favorite (Vampire), and Gimmie Gimmie. Personally I think this song has euphemisms, but from what I read, the members are comparing themselves to the fireworks as a way of showing their confidence. Thank you for giving this group a chance, I know NCT's sound isn't always for everyone, I'm glad you guys are enjoying the journey ^w^

Enjoyable reaction and thanks for the rating. I kind of felt the same way. I enjoyed the beat and the darker minor key parts but the chorus switch up into the major key felt a bit out of place on this one. Nice honest reaction.
I’ve seen almost all yalls Kpop reactions and I must say y’all have the worst timing when pausing I have ever seen 😭. Whether it’s in the MIDDLE of the chorus, right before a beat drop, the SECOND a beat change happens or in the middle of a rap verse. At the very least PLEASE go back a few seconds after pausing so ur not missing out on how the flow is supposed to feel. Anyway y’all should watch the Cherry Bomb dance practice
