The only thing I like about the SG Pulse is the size. The stability mode sounded interesting, but I'm not getting much from it. I'm probably going to get rid of mine. Granted, the overlays are pretty cool to look at in post.
I am in agreement with your general assessment. I think it's novelty can wear off quick if the data points are not what you are interested in. And I prefer the send-it level for actually referencing my rifle cant on the clock.
The things we say often times manifest themselves into reality. Dory saying "I told you I was going to forget!" is a self-fulfilling prophecy. The more you think about a mistake, the higher the likelihood it'll happen. "Man, I really suck at hitting poppers! I'll probably have to take a couple make-up shots!" "I'm terrible at this classifier, I always mess it up." Guess what's probably going to happen? Instead, visualize over and over the exact order you need to engage targets as if you were actually running the stage, what the targets will look like in the scope, the trigger pull, the exact spot you're going to place the bag and rifle on the barricade, and visualize success. And never tell yourself you're going to mess something up! A book that has helped my mental game quite a bit is called With Winning In Mind by Lanny Bassham. Cheers, love your videos!
These results does not surprise me. Electronically speaking the noise level of accelerometer and or IMUs used in these systems generally have very heavy filters to give you the illusion of stability. 3moa is actually pretty good accuracy for what it is but it will be alot more work and cost to get it to point where you could trust it the same as a reticle offset in the scope. But still good training tool
How do you not have more subscribers! Video editing and different camera views are spot on!
