    Can somebody explain the me the button terminology they're using? 6C? 66D? I've never heard this before in any other SS or SNK game for that matter but it seems that all of a sudden everybody knows it.

      Don´t know if it´s the same in Samurai Shodown , but 6 should mean forward. So 6C should mean forward plus C button. 66D is forward>release>forward +D button.
      Directions get written like this in the fighting games I know (Blazblue, Guilty Gear, believe Street Fighter too):
      789
      456
      123
      6=forward
      4=backward
      5=neutral / no input
      2=down
      8=up
      7=up+backward
      66=double tap forward
      etc.
      This is a pretty good picture to help if your unsure about something or forget what number means what.

      Something like j.C would mean jumping and pressing the C button. j.6C would mean jumping and pressing forward + C button.
      Think that´s used for most fighting games at the moment. Tekken and Smash Bros. have other ways of writting down movement.

      Samsho is one of the few snk games where numpad notation was popularized, yeah.

    Is that the same Jubei from the 1993 Ninja Scrolls movie? Real ones know who im speaking of. Or is it pure coincidence that both have the same name and both are Samurais?

      柳生那哥们蹲防漏洞太大了,每局几乎多一半都是被橘右京的滑铲踢到,他自己没意识到这个问题么
