How to Move the LATCH Strap from Rear-Facing to Forward-Facing on a Graco 4Ever Extend2Fit

- Learn how to switch the LATCH strap from the rear-facing belt path to the forward-facing belt path so you can easily switch your carseat from rear-facing to forward-facing with very little effort. Kecia also shows you how to move the LATCH connector strap from the rear-facing belt path to the forward-facing belt path.
Having the LATCH belt under the bar on the Graco 4Ever-based carseats makes it so it doesn't get twisted or turned upside down in the belt path as you change it. This is literally the only video including the ones made by graco that actually explains how to do this. It is not even addressed properly in the printed directions. Thank you!!!!!!!

The user manual instructions that comes with the carseat skips the whole part about what you actually have to do to move the latch belt under the cushion. This was super helpful.

Hi question !! How do I know if I take out that padding white colored padding ? There’s the normal padding under. Is it for infants or rear facing ?? I don’t see you had it in to begin the video and some people I see remove it
Is there a way to swap sides? When it was rear facing it was great because I could tighten the strap from outside the car now that its forward facing I have to go into the other side of the car to tighten the strap
No, the metal bar prevent this. If you keep the seat pad pulled back, you should be able to tighten from either side (although it may be easier from one side or the other.
The video notes state the bar is to help keep the straps from getting twisted.
