Aaron, Key said when they were in trainee period and even their early debut, they were told that they couldn't sing so SM would debut them as a hip hop group (with rap based song). But later, they found 'replay' as a song that matched their vocal abilities. It's so inspiring how hard they practice to improve their skills and become who they are today.
I’ll be honest. This story always sounded like the mentors were just playing tough love (with emphasis on the tough) more than anything. If you see any of their pre debut performances or early debut covers and lives, you know that they were very much made with SINGING in mind ESPECIALLY with jongyu at the forefront. Not to say that they didn’t all improve because they obviously did, I just find it very hard to believe SM ever seriously considered debuting them as a rap group.
@@smilexlovexlive ofc they are not bad singers even in their early debut time, they are a good group vocally and i agree with you about their mentor's tough love. I think SM want them to be more ready and prepared if only they would be compared with their senior, TVXQ (which is really a great and strong vocal group), SM set the vocal standard so high so they would make shinee as a rap group :)
@@smilexlovexlive kpop trainers back then were notorious for being rly mean and strict so im honestly not surprised if they said stuff like that. Theres always been a belief in entertainment industries specifically that you need to tear someone down for them to grow.. nowdays its less so but its still prevalent. So many 2nd gen idols came forward about the abuse they endured bc it was so common back then
@@cabbagejuice SM strived for perfection and they still do now. They wanted to make sure that the *Idol* *Training* system (which they created and other companies are now following it) always produced top tier idols that were capable of sustaining their success and fame in the long-term. And i wouldn't be surprised if SM had very strict and highly qualified trainers (For example, *Mihawk* *black* , *Kasper* , *Shim* *Jae* *Won* , *Yoo* *Youngjin* (vocal coach) etc......) . (Mihawk is an OG in kpop. He did an interview with BRIS LIFE where He said that he doesn't like to repeat himself several times. If the idols are quick to grasp his moves then it's fine by him but he doesn't like people asking him to repeat the same moves again and again. Hence, he was and is a strict trainer). SM wanted to get the best out of their artists which sometimes meant pushing them to do better and better and constantly improve with every assignment. You may have heard the following story about TAEYONG. Dude had no dancing background and his trainer had even given up on him. But look at him now. He's the *LEADER* and *MAIN* *DANCER* of a group of 23 members. His improvement was consistent over the years. Things may have become less strict in the past few years but SM still maintains their standard. I remember that in one variety show which had Red velvet as their guests, the hosts of the show said that "SM TRAINEES ARE THE MOST RESPECTED TRAINEES" . It's very difficult to get into SM in the first place and yet I see people saying that SM trainees had it easier compared to other companies.
the girl is Victoria Song from f(x)! yeah Taemin was 14 when Replay was released, he was still going through puberty so his voice was not stable yet (still changing), so that's why he barely had lines here 😌 in one of the live performances (i forgot which song), Jonghyun even had to sing together with him during Taemin's lines to help him, not to mention he was still shy lmao he was so cute. (then as Taemin said, someone told his voice was not suited for singing etc, he worked his ass off haha)
the song was romantic and that's when SHINee won F.T. Island Jonghyun sings with him, at that time he was much better with the help of Onew and Jonghyun training him, but he was still not confident enough to sing live without further help if they wanted to win, which they did in the end FT Island's lead singer has one of the most unique voices, in my opinion, I really like the voice. With SHINee members, he and Huh Gak are my favourite vocals. In fact, I think Huh Gak is so underrated with so much talent, I don't know if because he doesn't have the beauty Korean citizen likes or because he's married but it's a shame because he has so many albums and so many osts that was the reason for meet him the same way with SHINee
I really love the part where minho is rapping while Onew, Key and Taemin are harmonizing and Jonghyun is just there emotionally crying. Jonghyun’s voice is so powerful that him singing at the end is just amazing. I love them SHINee World forever!
Taemin was very young here and didn't have a very stable voice. He's a great vocalist now but then he had just hit puberty so his voice needed to be given time to heal and develop without damage.
SHINee's "Replay" isn't just nostalgic, it's legendary. And SHINee are legends. Every new rookie group in the industry has covered "Replay" at least once in their career and it's one of those songs that is pretty much compulsory for everyone to know and learn, even still today. The Noona (the older girl SHINee have a crush on that they are singing to) in the "Replay" MV is the leader of their sister group***, Victoria from F(x). This MV came out more than a year before F(X) debuted so this was Victoria even before debut. (Funny thing is, Victoria is native Chinese and she says she was still learning Korean during this time and she could barely even say SHINee.) Victoria was so perfect in this role because she is a few years older than any of the SHINee members so she fit well as the lead actress in this MV. As the song says, 'Noona neomu yeppeo .... replay, replay, replay ...." In other words they are saying "pretty older woman I really like you and I think you like me too ... every time I see you I need a replay of the moment over and over again in my head." Noona neomu yeppeo is a Korean term that essentially means "Pretty older woman" Noona neomu yeppeo is a term that is only used by guys to describe a beautiful woman that is older than them. There really isn't a literal translation of the term so that is why the song is called "Replay" in English. But in Korean it is called "Noona neomu yeppeo." That's why if you watch SHINee on a lot of variety shows and TV programs, the older women in the show often ask SHINee to sing this song to them. *** SHINee and F(x) are both SM Entertainment groups, they debuted within a year of each other, they both are 5 member groups (Now 4 member groups ;( ) and they have similar music styles and concepts, etc. F(x) is pretty much the female version of SHINee. "Replay" actually came out in 2008 -- more than 13 years ago -- however, SM launched their new TH-cam channel in 2011 and reuploaded all their older videos at that time. So all of their older MVs and content will have a 2011 date but, like "Replay," they actually may be from much earlier. "Replay" is literally considered one of the best debut songs of all time for any Kpop artist because it's so timeless and it never goes out of style or sounds outdated no matter how old it gets. And this is why SHINee are Icons. This song makes all the women swoon. You just witnessed baby SHINee and were already blown away, just imagine what it will be like as you continue your journey through their discography and MVs. They have 13 full-length albums (7 Korean albums and 6 Japanese albums), several repackaged albums, a multitude of mini albums, numerous OSTS, they each have solo songs and albums and there are hundreds of live performances that will absolutely leave you speechless with their talent. And it only gets more and more impressive as you follow them through their career. They have accomplished a lot in the past 13+ years and they are one of the groups that made Kpop what it is today. SHINee are one of the most iconic and influential groups as trendsetters. This song was way ahead of its time when it first came out. SHINee are known for never being afraid to experiment with their style and sound in a song and for the fact that no two songs of theirs will ever be the same even on the same album. SHINee are always setting trends, never following them. As SM's experimental boy group, nothing you hear from SHINee will ever sound the same, and, yet, somehow it will always sound like SHINee. So this shows just how talented even as teenagers SHINee were. If you want to see where SHINee truly shines you have to watch their live concert performances. Fun fact: SM originally wanted to make SHINee a hip-hop group. Hip-hop was the style of music that was really popular when they debuted. That's why Key and Minho are both rappers and how Taemin started out as a popper in dance. But as Key tells it, they just didn't have the swag to pull of hip-hop, so SM switched up their sound and style to something that fit them better and they came up with the signature classic SHINee R&B vocals they are now known for. I, for one, am so glad they debuted with their signature R&B style instead of hip-hop. I can't imagine the world if we never knew the amazing vocals and sound that is SHINee today. Things would be so different. So SHINee are part of the second generation of Kpop and yet the members are younger than most everyone in their generation and are the same age or even younger than some members of groups who came after them, such as EXO and BTS, etc., which are part of Kpop's third generation. SHINee debuted young and have the experience of seasoned veterans. It just goes to show you why they are legends in the industry. When SHINee debuted Onew (the leader and lead vocalist) was 18, Jonghyun (the main vocalist and songwriter) had just turned 18, Minho (the main rapper and sub-vocalist) and Key (lead vocalist and sub-rapper) were 16 and Taemin (Main dancer and lead vocalist) was 14, so now they are all in their late 20s and early 30s. (Onew turned 32 in December.) SHINee are some of the most well respected artists in the industry. Onew (Pronounced Oh-New, real name Lee JinKi) -- the one in the hat -- is the leader of the group and he has one of the most unique and best voices in the industry. (Onew means, or sounds like, the Korean words for soft or gentle, so he was given his stage name because he has a very calm and gentle personality.) His vocals are unmatched. He even holds the record (40+ seconds) for the longest continuous note without changing tone or pitch, etc. Jonghyun -- the one with the headphones that you see first -- is known as one of the best vocalist in Kpop who was one of the most prolific songwriters and composers of his generation. Jonghyun wrote and composed almost 40% of SHINee's songs, plus he wrote all of his own solo songs and numerous songs for other artists, such as EXO's "Playboy" and songs for Taemin, IU and Lee HI, etc. He was one of the only SM artists to be given complete artistic control over his work, including several of SHINee's song selections. SM knew that if Jonghyun was involved in any way that the song would be a hit. He was extremely respected within the industry as a songwriter, composer and singer. He was one of the very first Idols to be known for this songwriting and composing skills, and he was the first of SM's artists to have a fully self-wrote album. As the main vocalist, Jonghyun is the one you hear with all the amazing high notes and R&B runs and ad libs most of the time. Key -- the one in green -- is our fashionista of the group who is SHINee's stylist for a lot of their MVs and stage outfits. SHINee are known for setting trends and never being afraid to experiment with their sound or look, so Key is known for really paying attention to detail when it comes to fashion. He is known for always being unique and wanting to stand out. He is an amazing singer and is a sub-rapper in the group. He is also known as SHINee's dance copy machine. Key has the ability to see and remember choreography the fastest in the group. He only needs to watch the dance once and he has it memorized. He is also SHINee's fluent English speaker, and he is almost as good as a native speaker. Minho -- the one playing basketball -- is the main rapper and visual of the group, but his vocals are also some of the best in the industry. Minho sings just as much as he raps. He also writes most of his own raps in SHINee's songs. Minho is one of the top actors in the industry and he has starred in numerous dramas and movies. Minho is also known as a top athlete. He says these days he goes to the gym a couple of times a day to work out just because he likes to work out, but he is also crazy about soccer, and he plays basketball, baseball and golf, and he is good at track and field events, etc., as well. And not only does he enjoy playing all those sports, but he is usually the best athlete on the field and he pretty much wins every time. There is a reason why Minho's nickname is "Flaming Charisma," and one reason is for his intense passion for sports and his need to always win. And, as you know, Taemin -- the one in yellow -- is considered one of THE BEST dancers in the industry, and that's not just by fans but by everyone in the industry, including his peers. Taemin's nickname is the Korean Michael Jackson. As you can see by their "Replay" MV, even at 14, Taemin was one of the best dancers in the industry, and you will soon discover with the more that you watch from SHINee and Taemin's solo work, that he has only gotten more magnificent over the years. Taemin is also one of the most popular solo artists in the industry and he is a member of the Kpop supergroup SuperM. Taemin truly is art when it comes to his performances. SHINee are one of the top groups that are known for the fact that they all can do it all. They are a group of 5 amazing vocalists, 5 impressive dancers, 5 visuals, 5 rappers, 5 top actors, and 5 of the most talented and unique voices in all of Kpop. Once you get to know their voices you will always be able to pick them out of a crowd just by the sound of their voice. As a SHINee World -- what SHINee's fans are known as -- or Shawol for short (pronounced like shy-wall), I can tell who is speaking or singing within 1 second even with my eyes closed with them standing in a crowd of screaming fans. Each of their voices are that unique -- there is no one with a voice like any of theirs. That is why they are "The Princes of Kpop".
Taemin was just a sub-vocalist when they first debuted but few years later, he's already been promoted to SHINee's lead vocalist. He got to sing the chorus and the high notes. He is an incredibly talented and hardworking person. That's why everyone like him ^^
Also as Taemin was 14 SM didn't want to push his voice too much before it broke..Taeminne said that SM was protecting his voice by giving him smaller less challenging vocals to allow his voice to mature properly...
Speaking of Jonghyun vocals, I'm glad you finally started connecting to them more. I think someone already mentioned but I'll repeat that Jonghyun's vocal range is extremely big, and his vocal capabilities are almost unlimited also in the sense of control and technique, he could adjust his voice to match a particular song, sound, mood or just experiment whenever he felt like it. So there's almost no two songs where he sounds identical, he often even sings the same song in a multiple and different ways depending on the performance! I'd compare it to Taemin's dance mastery as you know the way he dances Move for instance is also really different on case by case basis and so it's basically the same with Jonghyun and his singing mastery he's just that amazing and versatile vocalist. You only heard the tip of the iceberg of how he can sound like and I'm sure you'll love his voice even more after hearing more various songs by them or him solo, there's definitely many more songs with the qualities that you will like. It's really difficult to describe Jonghyun's voice in just few words or comparisons because it's so unique, yet he's also able to copy almost anyone like he can do a really accurate impersonation of MJ :D
He totally reminds me of MJ, which is why he sounds familiar to me, instead of “different “ like many people thinks. I wasn’t paying too much attention on his techniques at first. I was impressed by how freely he expressed his energy and emotions. I feel many singers care too much about sounding good. He’s fully into the character of his songs. And honestly he’s the only K-pop singer that connects me on an emotional level that much. Even before I knew him, when I watched City Hunter, I thought “Goodbye” was the most touching OST. I thought it was from an older professional singer. I knew Jonghyun last year by chance. I already had a bias and was amazed by my bias. I was reluctant to learn anything about Jonghyun. But his “Moon” jumped into my playlist and I was instantly hooked. Such a stylish song and nothing like the K-pop I’ve listened to before. Then I watched the lyric video of Y Si Fuera Ella and ran into tears within 30s. After a year, my love for him has only deepened.
Actually, Taemin had no lines at all in this, their debut song. He was so heartbroken about this. However, he was only 14 at this time and SM wouldn't let him sing due to the fact his vocal cords were still too immature, and they didn't want to damage any future potential. It was only when he did start to practice singing that it was discovered he didn't know how. Both Jonghyun and Onew stepped up to tutor him in technique. By 2011, Taemin started to get a few lines in their songs and began to blossom. He worked extremely hard practicing both singing and honing his dancing skills. He said in an interview that he would secretly go to the practice room at night and sing until he couldn't anymore, so he would then practice dancing and switch back to singing when his legs gave out. He would do this until the wee hours of the morning. He further said this rigorous schedule he set for himself caused him to get daily nosebleeds, and he would sometimes fall asleep during practices with the other members. Even at such a young age, Taemin had the intense drive and will power to succeed. Just look at him now!
I was going to say that, it's impossible to define Jonghyun's voice, one thing he really knew was how to play with his voice, he knew so well how to switch from one style to another effortlessly the same way he went from chest to head to mixed and falsetto like nothing was happening and he's one of the well known singers who rarely crack, i remember he was on the radio show and it happened and the members were amazed like they never expected it from him and Taemin's face was hilarious, *like what's happen Hyung *
When SHINee debuted, Taemin's voice just started changing as he was 14 years old at that time, so he hasn't got many lines in a song in earlier eras. However, since they all get improved in vocals and they knew more about their voice characters, they could match and distributed base on their specialties.
Replay is still considered one of if not the best debut sings of all time!! SHINee were monster rookies in 2008 and they are the first ever group to get “rookie gland slam” (securing all the rookie awards from major award shows) and there weren’t another group to achieve rookie gland slam till ikon in 2016
Taemin working so hard to get where he is and becoming an icon and a legend is so inspiring. He is the epitome of hardwork. What he has accomplished makes me so proud :) Replay is one of my fave Shinee songs. Released 2008 and still beautiful to listen to in 2022 is just remarkable.
Yess finally, I was waiting for the REPLAY reaction. yeah they are actually so young in that time, SHINee ages when they debut with REPLAY are, Onew : 18 years old Jonghyun : 18 years old Key : 16 years old Minho : 16 years old Taemin : 14 years old Thank you for the reaction ❤️
Jonghyun was 18 at the time his birthday is on April and they debut in May, if you remember Onew and Jonghyun have only 4 months gap in age, Onew 14/12/89 and Jonghyun 08/04/90
This song genre is not even single bit emotional but everytime we shawols hear this we go crazy emotional my heart feel like its been pinched .i love this song. This and into the new world are legendary debut songs.
“replay” is my favorite shinee’s title track on emotional level. so nostalgic and members are so young, excited and energetic. it just hits straight to the heart
The girl from the video is Victoria from f(x) ^^ It was her first appeareance working with SM since f(x) debuted on 2009. One of the reasons that live performance was so emotional, it was because it was their first song (like you said) but also the fans did an event at that moment, and it was very meaningful. And they had been a lot through a lot on 2014. Onew's almost lost his voice since he had nodules on her throat and that was their first concert in Korea after that. About the song I really like it and I think Replay is a very timeless song. It sounds fresh every time.
Mi amor y admiración por SHINee perdurará por siempre por su calidad vocal, interpretación y danza. Ripley es su canción debut, ya es una leyenda!! Gracias por reaccionar a los príncipes del Kpop!!
It's intresting that the story of continue. they have a song after severals years that they got the ''noona'' to be girlfriend, and the time pass, in the album
I didn´t coonect with Jonghyuns voice at first too, but I came around after I was the Crazy live performance. But my absolute fav song is Moon - recommend!!
Thanks for that reaction, Aaron. 😌Replay is one of my two favorite old SHINee songs with Hello. I really liked this song, especially live. Chemistry and The Reason being my all time favorites songs by them. JongHyun is one of my favorite Kpop vocalists, he has even been a mentor for several other great singers like Taemin, Chen, Baekhyun, etc. The fact that you really love Taemin is no longer a secret, now. 😂 I think you should like 100% View and Shift.
Shiss... i didn't plan to ended up crying 😅😅😅😅 goshhhhh time for bed or I'll spent the rest of the night sobbing... they worked so hard, a lot, with all they had, they pushed every piece of themselves, they all did it great😢
You should watch the interview that Stacy Nam from iHeartRadio made with Taemin in 2019. It's on TH-cam. Among other things he talks about his career, about how in the beginning he wasn't able to sing because his voice hadn't matured yet, how frustrating it was for him and how he worked on it, etc. It's one of the best interviews with Taemin, maybe the best.
I was considering requesting that video but sadly there are Taemin's b-sides playing in the background, like the whole Want album and some from other albums 🥲 and he won't be able to mute them because the sound on that interview is pretty quiet
@@universe986 I'm not saying he should react to it. It's a long video after all. I'm just saying that, since he clearly likes Taemin, he may be interested in just watching it for himself.
i don't know what's so wrong with "older" songs in your opinion. haha songs don't have an expiration date. older music become classics... must be because you are very young that you only like new music. But I am glad you liked it. Shinee will always outshine any group for me.
This live was really emotional as it is approaching their 7th year anniversary as a group (iirc swc iv was around May 15ish so a few days before debut anniv) which is considered a feat in groups more so before than nowadays, as not all groups make it to 7 years or make it past 7 (social media and globalization has helped a lot to make it more normal for a lot of groups to reach longevity) and that they still had a strong following to that date was a big thing, they were still at peak.
Thank you for reacting to the live as well. I was literally tearing up again(cuz i have no idea how many times I've watched that and still loves it everytime). Glad you liked it!!!
They were super young in the MV, for a debut it was a nice song and Taemin looked so cute :) The live performance was more emotional especially at the end. My mom likes SHINEE a lot, a showed her a few MV's which I know and she was impressed by all of them, she said they're like diamonds in terms of musicality.
THE most iconic debut with SNSD Into The New World! The girl is Victoria from the SM group F(x). I still don't know if SM released a clear statement to say if the group has officially disbanned but for now the group hasn't been active since 2016.
2015 SHINee world concert seoul stop was there first concert in korea in a awhile after continuous japan promotions and this particular day was their debut anniversary and if you noticed the fans were doing a slogan event too during the replay stage so they were emotional
Thankful to another reaction to SHINee🙏This is definitely the type of song that brings the fandom together and even brings fandoms together. I feel like in a way it is a healing song. It is comforting and uplifting and it really creates that atmosphere of togetherness💙
wow I got so emotional with this jsjsjs Glad you liked it Aaron. Replay is one of those timeless songs that will always be appreciated and that connects with great affection to the fandom. They have come a very long and not easy road, but I want to believe that every time they look back they are proud of their achievements. Thanl you for the reaction!
I didn't like Replay that much back then when i 1st listened, but right when they performed it LIVE i hooked right away haha, they need to mix it again since the original background music is old and maybe i like it because it's in newer style of mixing :)))) i still listen to that SW4 Replay Live Ver till now
@@nykinabilah167 ahahaha of course its not all about the show, this kind of improvement needs more than just a show to happen, but the show helped him a lot as it only focuses on his vocals so he had to showcase his vocal ability and his voice is on the forefront.
aww. I'm so glad to see and happy to see yr reaction of this. That's right, this song means a lot to them and to us. so that's why they made several songs that were connected to this song. There are songs that connects the lyrics dance and melody.
I must say it was the beginning of the journey for me in the kpop world, and i didn't liked it at first but after a few listening it became on of my favourite songs from shinee so I'm glad that you reacted to it
I am so glad you liked Replay! Although SHINee had so many great songs over the years, the debut song holds a special place, both to the members and us fans

Thank you 💎
Taemin was just a sub-vocalist when they first debuted but few years later, he's already been promoted to SHINee's lead vocalist. He got to sing the chorus and the high notes. He is an incredibly talented and hardworking person. That's why everyone like him ^^
Also as Taemin was 14 SM didn't want to push his voice too much before it broke..Taeminne said that SM was protecting his voice by giving him smaller less challenging vocals to allow his voice to mature properly...
best debut song 😄 this one is timeless
Totally agree!
SHINee has the best debut song ever !
Thank you so much for the reaction!
Jonghyun's voice is actually very versatile, he sounds different in different songs
That’s pre-debut Victoria from F(x), Taemin was my fave ever since debut so it was an awesome journey with him since 2008!
What he has accomplished makes me so proud :)
Replay is one of my fave Shinee songs. Released 2008 and still beautiful to listen to in 2022 is just remarkable.
This was the most iconic debut ever.
The girl is Victoria from f(x) and this was before her debut. People usually don’t recognize her from this MV because she was very young.
She was 21 tho
This is one of the most iconic songs in all of K-Pop.
MY CHILDHOOD SONG 🥺 "replay" really bring a good memories with shinee and kpop at that time
Yess finally, I was waiting for the REPLAY reaction.
yeah they are actually so young in that time, SHINee ages when they debut with REPLAY are,
Onew : 18 years old
Jonghyun : 18 years old
Key : 16 years old
Minho : 16 years old
Taemin : 14 years old
Thank you for the reaction ❤️
Jonghyun was 18 at the time his birthday is on April and they debut in May, if you remember Onew and Jonghyun have only 4 months gap in age, Onew 14/12/89 and Jonghyun 08/04/90
@@analea10 yes Jjong should be 18y old. my bad 😊
I'm crying. I'm crying. I'm cryiiiing.
Shinee's live performance always another level. You can feel their emotion. You can feel the vibes.
Oh god ... This song , the last clip .. shawol n SHINee singing together ....

Ot5 forever
Ot5 forever
This song genre is not even single bit emotional but everytime we shawols hear this we go crazy emotional my heart feel like its been pinched .i love this song. This and into the new world are legendary debut songs.
If you’re interested, they did this song in Japanese wherein they had a better line distribution. Taemin had more lines there.
True, I had a crush on Taemin since they released that song 😁
The song that introduced me to Kpop. This song and SHINee will always have a special place in my ❤️
Replay is THAT debut song no one can change my mind
Finally you reacted to this song! There are some songs which have special space in our heart..This is one of that song for me..
I can't get enough of this song till now everytime I listen I still feels like listening for the first time
You can't deny that 'Reply' is like the best debut song
Hehe finally!! The song that introduced me to Shinee's music
Jjong is a belter...high long notes r his forte.
WHO BECAME SO NOSTALGIC AFTER WATCH THIS? AND WHO MISS THE AMAZING VOCALIST JOHGHYUN WAS :C
So basically Taemin debuted at 14 years old, since he's my favorite, and since im 14 now maybe im gonna debut now to follow her steps HAHSHAHSHS

plz don't cry.. I'm so proud of you SHINee 🥺
Mi amor y admiración por SHINee perdurará por siempre por su calidad vocal, interpretación y danza. Ripley es su canción debut, ya es una leyenda!! Gracias por reaccionar a los príncipes del Kpop!!
Our shining boys ✨✨✨✨✨ 5HINee forever 💖💖💖💖💖
this song is in my playlist since 2009 🥰
Arguably the best debut song
Ah, the best debut song EVER.
It's intresting that the story of continue.
they have a song after severals years that they got the ''noona'' to be girlfriend,
and the time pass, in the album
This song is my all time favourite 😭❤️
I didn´t coonect with Jonghyuns voice at first too, but I came around after I was the Crazy live performance. But my absolute fav song is Moon - recommend!!
Thank you for reacting this aaron. This song always be my fav, they’re amazing!!
This is the best reaction shinee replay could have 🥺❤. Thank You Aaron
Legends
Thanks for that reaction, Aaron. 😌Replay is one of my two favorite old SHINee songs with Hello. I really liked this song, especially live. Chemistry and The Reason being my all time favorites songs by them. JongHyun is one of my favorite Kpop vocalists, he has even been a mentor for several other great singers like Taemin, Chen, Baekhyun, etc. The fact that you really love Taemin is no longer a secret, now. 😂 I think you should like 100% View and Shift.
THE BEST KPOP DEBUT SONG PERIOD
This song is everything
It is one the best debut song ever period. It is still iconic♥️🔥
I love this song so much. So heart fluttering.
Shiss... i didn't plan to ended up crying 😅😅😅😅 goshhhhh time for bed or I'll spent the rest of the night sobbing... they worked so hard, a lot, with all they had, they pushed every piece of themselves, they all did it great😢
You should watch the interview that Stacy Nam from iHeartRadio made with Taemin in 2019.
@@helenas7948 It doesn't matter, he's avoiding any spoilers for his songs very carefully, so he can't watch it even on his own
@@universe986 Ah, I see. So maybe later :)
@@helenas7948 Yeah. I really want him to watch it at some point
i don't know what's so wrong with "older" songs in your opinion. haha songs don't have an expiration date. older music become classics... must be because you are very young that you only like new music.
샤이니 사랑한다
Thank you for reacting to the live as well. I was literally tearing up again(cuz i have no idea how many times I've watched that and still loves it everytime). Glad you liked it!!!
the girl in the MV is F(x) Victoria
They were super young in the MV, for a debut it was a nice song and Taemin looked so cute :)
The live performance was more emotional especially at the end. My mom likes SHINEE a lot, a showed her a few MV's which I know and she was impressed by all of them, she said they're like diamonds in terms of musicality.
THE most iconic debut with SNSD Into The New World! The girl is Victoria from the SM group F(x). I still don't know if SM released a clear statement to say if the group has officially disbanned but for now the group hasn't been active since 2016.
thanks for reacting to them again, it reminds me of the first time loving them 🥺🥺🥺❤💎💎💎💎💎
This song was so much played in Kvariety shows and kdramas, one of my fav songs
Happy to see alot taemin fans here and proud of him...
SHINee debut age:
Onew:18
Jonghyun: 17
Minho:16
Key:16
Taemin:14
Shinee love line story start from Replay then dating in love sick and the end they are married in marry you
2015 SHINee world concert seoul stop was there first concert in korea in a awhile after continuous japan promotions and this particular day was their debut anniversary and if you noticed the fans were doing a slogan event too during the replay stage so they were emotional
Watching Taemin’s journey since debut has got to be one of the most inspiring things I have ever witnessed in Kpop
Thankful to another reaction to SHINee🙏This is definitely the type of song that brings the fandom together and even brings fandoms together. I feel like in a way it is a healing song. It is comforting and uplifting and it really creates that atmosphere of togetherness💙
You must watched their live stages for most of their songs because of their amazing choreograpies..
wow I got so emotional with this jsjsjs Glad you liked it Aaron. Replay is one of those timeless songs that will always be appreciated and that connects with great affection to the fandom. They have come a very long and not easy road, but I want to believe that every time they look back they are proud of their achievements. Thanl you for the reaction!
I didn't like Replay that much back then when i 1st listened, but right when they performed it LIVE i hooked right away haha, they need to mix it again since the original background music is old and maybe i like it because it's in newer style of mixing :)))) i still listen to that SW4 Replay Live Ver till now
Taemin improved alot after participating in a show called immortal song that focuses on vocals
It's not only because of that.... 😅😅
@@nykinabilah167 ahahaha of course its not all about the show, this kind of improvement needs more than just a show to happen, but the show helped him a lot as it only focuses on his vocals so he had to showcase his vocal ability and his voice is on the forefront.
The girl is Victoria from fx
And for replay japanese person is yuna snsd
This song is epic
Onew and jonghyun were 18, key and Minho 16 and Taemin 14 when they debuted
aww. I'm so glad to see and happy to see yr reaction of this. That's right, this song means a lot to them and to us. so that's why they made several songs that were connected to this song. There are songs that connects the lyrics dance and melody.
they are amazing live performers🔥
Replay Will be always my favorite song by Shinee ♡
Thank you very much ~~~♡
The girl in the mv is f(x)’s Victoria!! Which we need more f(x) reactions pls hahaha
I really love this song
I recommend reacting to SHINee's Love Sick and Marry you as well since they're all connected! :)
02:50 i love that part so much😭😭
I must say it was the beginning of the journey for me in the kpop world, and i didn't liked it at first but after a few listening it became on of my favourite songs from shinee so I'm glad that you reacted to it
The girl you just saw on mv is Victoria from F(x)
thank you for your reaction
The girls is Victoria, leader of FX, at that time she was a traine
This live always me cry
*Yes, you are right she look fimilar
because she is actually victoria from f(x)*
the girl is Victoria from F(x) - former SM idol
I usually don’t listen to shinee but this song is always on my playlist’s
I used to be like you until I was converted into a Shawol by soloist Taemin and their music especially Bsides are chef's kisses
And Taemin sang the whole song by himself in sketchbook when he went there for the first time for promotions of his solo debut
I am so glad you liked Replay! Although SHINee had so many great songs over the years, the debut song holds a special place, both to the members and us fans
