you can't have a classic if you didn't write it.
FACTSSSSS!
If you listen closely to when Kendrick say that bar he says “you don’t Half one which is a play on ghost writing to
FACTS!!💯🔥
Facts
Exactly
no one says Drake isn't black....we say he's not an American Black. He doesn't understand our culture. He grew up in a upper middle class family in a Jewish community in Canada. He has no understanding of the African American experience.
He fakes the funk with street culture not really coming from that mind frame. Instead he interprets it as best he can
Yeah it gets annoying when people make that dishonest argument. Hell, he even called Drakes son black in Meet The Grahams. But this whole diss was centered around Drake being a culture vulture. Of course to society Drake is black. But the second he opens his mouth you know he isn't from America. He didn't grow up in the culture that birthed the genre Drake uses to make money. Drake is merely another acting role for Aubrey. Where he plays the stereotypical American black rapper. Kendrick is just Kendrick. He was raised in the culture, its apart of his identity. Drake can't say that. He was raised in a white jewish Canadian household. Theres nothing wrong that that, but he culturally isn't a black American. His dad didn't raise him, and he only seen him a couple times a year. It's why it is actually weird that Drake says the N word. Because that word has historical significance in America, not Canada. It is derived by people who wanted to take a word that was used against their ancestors, and flip it to something positive. Drake has NO ties to that word and didn't even start using it until he was an adult already. This whole battle from Kendricks end is about culture, not race. When he says he isn't black enough he means culturally in America. Drake is a character, Aubrey is the person playing that character. Kendrick is himself, and is from the culture. Thats the difference.
I think Kendrick was say he didn't have any classics because he didn't write those
Cool reaction you started out a big Drake fan but you had an open mind so I'll give you credit for that.
That black face picture made a lot of folk see Drake way different.
I don’t thing anyone can call Take Care a classic when six of the songs on that album was written by The Weekend. He never even gave him credit for those songs. It was a great album however, I think this is why K Dot said he doesn’t have any.
Some would say it is a classic but it doesn’t belong entirely to Drake. That is the prob
I’m glad the homie pointed out people always coming to that Canadian salamander’s rescue.
He means by no classic that he did not write them himself. Take care had 6 songs written by the weeken
Facts - nearly all of his hits are stolen. The Weeknd, PartyNextDoor, Quintin Miller, wizkid, Popcaan, XXX etc
Albums still not classic just good. Classic is the Chronicle, All Eyes on Me, Blueprint etc
You was spot on about J PRINCE ....he ws takling about J prince and them
He didn't catch the whoopin feet shyt that westside shyt tho I get it
I caught it and I'm in Florida! But I'm an old skool hip hop head so I've heard the term from other West Coast artists in the past.
I'm lucky enough to even have family in Cali so the love is genuine on my end❤💯
Euphoria should have ended this beef. Not having to address the pdf stuff would have saved Drake a lot of headaches. But he couldn’t help himself. Pride and arrogance does that….
Kendrick warned him
He was definitely warned.....
Kendrick too cold 🥶. The levels is CRAZY
JCole is sitting under a tree sipping lemon water and eating a spinach salad.
Real quick while I’m in the middle of this. Dude is doing some nice investigative work with video receipts
Glad y’all ended up doing part 2
I love when yall say “Hold onnnn”.lol Keep it guys!!!
About time I been checkin everyday
Sorry 4 da wait
@@squeezelafamila🔥 mixtape from Lil Wayne
@@shantellakaladypersephone8671 you know the vibes 😎
Drake has classic songs not a full classic album. None are no skip albums 🤷🏽♂️
You should see that clip where budden say, "don't make me wake the demon up"?? What kind of sleeping pills that demon take?!! Hey demon!!!!" Clowning drake because Kendrick was outside lol.
The shot me a drake line.. he’s also referring to the fact that he disses him on Control track and he didn’t finish him the way he was suppose to… he not gonna make that mistake this time… 🤷🏾♂️
You shot the fck out my nigga your reactions be having me crying 😂😂😂
Yall had me rolling throughout the whole video real talk.
🫡 💪🏾
I give props to homeboy for doing all the research and breaking down the song. There were probably 2 things he missed. One of them was when kendrick said, I know things that make gunna wunna look like a saint. He wasn't calling drake a snatch. He was saying, "What's worse than a snitch?" Feel me
Both Take Care & Nothing Was The Same were NOT written by Drake. The Weeknd and Quentin wrote many of them hits
I was looking for this statement
When dot says “shoo” & “bee” after the first beat switch, he’s callin drake a shoobie. That’s means tourist in southern cali
Thank you for doing this video. This is what hip-hop truly is, it’s more than just words that rhyme. It’s meant to make you reach deep . Kendrick is a well read man. He makes you think. Listening to this song with my grandchildren, I’m gen x. I had to break it down with them the same way that this guy is. It actually got them to change the way that they listen to to rap. Kendrick is a historian and a story teller.😊. Listen and stop just listening 😊
Dude didn’t connect the line from Like That: “Your best work is a Light/Lyt pack”. This references DayLyt who is TDE who stated on multiple tracks that he has written a lot of Drakes hits. He even claimed he wrote Drakes disses when he was up against Meek Mill. That connects back to when Kendrick says Drake doesn’t have a classic.
Squuueeeezzzeee!!!

I wish I could hear your response… the volume on the reactor was too low.😮
good ass moments
5:51 - “that’s his pops/take that fkn dumbass mustache off”
6:10 - “resemble? that’s twin.”
16:50 - drake’s accents
17:30 - NY drake
21:56 - seeing “the story of adidon” cover for the first time
24:50 - seeing the cover again
I love you guys!! 😂❤️
Love you to 💙
Y’all hilarious 😆
Holll onnnnn😂😂😂😂
Please react to Common dissing Drake YEARS ago. He basically said everything that Kendrick said. (Minus the Peddo stuff)
Sweet
Kendrick say Joel Hale Olsteen… the Hale blend in between Joel and Olsteen. But he did not mess up but blended the name.
I’m not even black and I felt the same way you did when I seen that black face Drake… that was so cringe, I can see why Kendrick doesn’t like him saying the N-word.
Nobody counts his albums as classic because he didnt write them himself so really the classic belongs to the writer
The line about Drake not having a classic: the point was for the viewers to debate. Let drake core audience stomach the statement (Kendrick made) then tell em whet you get your Abs from. Very complex bar! Tuff!
No most ppl are not switching up their accents 😂😂
💭Drake and his dad do look alike to me too...
23:01 you never seeing Aubrey in black face is crazy, he made a whole Twitter post explaining it. It was for a clothing brand in Toronto before he was a rapper.
Nah bro i neva seen that definitely woulda been stop fuccin with him
I’m so glad he saw it. Many of us wasn’t f*ckin with Drake long ago. Now the “free the slaves” line, etc will hit harder to the point Kendrick was trying to show. Drake was NEVER for us. He only identifies with one side & his industry “masters” (certain group of people) are the machine behind his career because he’s their money maker
Thumbs up 👍 👍
Real quick for drake fans, does he say out in any songs and does he say it with that canadien accent? Like oot. Or about like aboot.
I'm suprised they didn't play the clip of drake saying the n word like 3x in one sentence where it sounds super awkward lol
y'all should react to story of adidon if you never listened before, it will give lots of perspective for kendrick's disses too
Bet
Drake combined two names with Joel Hale Austeen. With Joel Hale Austen the actor with Joel Osteen the pastor. The yt boys, I've seen breaking these lyrics down missing alot because they're yt and have no cultural connection either. ❤
to be fair, it has come out that weeknd literally wrote about half of take care. like not like help, weeknd had songs recorded, and drake took them and re-recorded them. also why weeknd never signed to him, why would i sign up to give you all my best songs?
I'm glad y'all doing the science, Aubrey Azealia didn't have a chance.
Your video edited out the Ku Klux Klan Drake when he used the hard ER when he was saying the N word. I don’t know which video you watched but it was missing parts
Big ups to you bros, i was already hipped to my man, Whats the Dirt, he posted u tube stiffed hom on the money, I had to send him a few coins for his work
Real one 🫡
Budden was shooting Drake all up!!! Drake had to pretend he never heard those Budden bars! Lol
Drake in a 360 deal meaning all his image, likeness, voice, his music material, any song, his everything is owned by UMG. And he on contract to out out 2 records a year so thats why Drake outs out so much content. He in a bad deal
Unfortunately for drake, this rap battle (and particularly this song) is the biggest pop culture phenomenon of 2024. Nothing else even comes close. 😆
Kendrick is different
Now he's not a Drake stan 😂😂😂😂😂
Look up the first time He said it. He was using the Hard R n everything
Your boy got washed by K-Dot.
It’s been Epic.
I miss so much from this song.
37:06 😂😂😂
i mean you did but you cut out the KoolKleanKlan accent Drake so you may have heard his fist n word
Yo squeeze quick update since there ur favourite rappers ktrap and doroad beefing look it up
We need you guys to do all the Pusha T disses & Joe Biden disses asap! Thanks & salute from London UK 🇬🇧
What’s the dirt
Men notice real men 🤷🏽♀️
LOL Here for your Daft Punk realization. Now you see why everyone was giving you a hard time in the comments? Kendrick got out his TDE deal and Drake still brought it up. Fair game. Drake got out the deal to a worse deal. They own him for that $400mil.
It’s obvious Kendrick combined the actor & Pastor intentionally. Cant believe Whats the Dirt didnt connect it well hence Kendrick saying he’s confused. Both instances of Ai connections. Same way Kendrick mixed Aubrey + Harvey Weinsten to pronounce “Dear HAubrey” in “Meet the Grahams”
Yo fam check out Why G - Baad Kid Maad City (Kendrick Lamar Diss)....Squeeze!!!! JANE N FINCH
Take care, nothing was the same and views aint no damn classics gtfoh with that nonsense
They were big hits with stolen material from The Weeknd, Quintin Miller, Popcaan, Wizkid, ParytND etc … ain’t no damn hip hop classics in Drakes catalogue.
Classics he’s talking about Rap classics. Drake don’t have a classic rap album.
0:53 that dide is wrong he talking about Drake getting chipped by a throw away. yall really be listening to to the sun dodgers 😂😂
Nah this guy is reaching too much! Lol the “his daddy is a killer he wants to be junior” is a shot at J prince and his son. Cause Prince stepped in back when drake was beefing with Pusha and we all know junior was at the scene when takeoff got killed.
The lame line was about Drake. He barely dissed Cole in Euphoria.
It's almost close to 50 years of wrapping people still Rappin trying to suplant the true pioneers already seated.
Is he said she said hissy fit, but you know making a rap song is so inexpensive, you can sit in there and let your producer put together and come up with whatever is on your mind which seems to be a bunch of whining about the other guy what they're doing and how they're doing and what they came from and who's more legit,, nothing to see here.
It can now be said that if these guys are spewing the truth and spitting words of dishonor, can rap is gone back to what it was thought of at first just the music you listen to between top recording artists., play in real art.
It's Called wrapping in my explanation because they're wrapping words around the beat.
And wrapping exactly something that came from the Jamaican isles called toasting.
Peace out fellas
The devil is a lie
@@thatgirl4633And the truth ain't in him💯
Nothing Was the Same and Take Care are classics fasho. Other than If You’re Reading This and I guess More Life, most of Drake’s shit is good/mid frfr
A classic yes, but is it Drakes?
