  • The Women’s 200m event was scheduled to kick off at Hayward Field, in Eugene Oregon at 14:45 (local time). The temperature range that day was between 13°C - 26°C (55°F - 78°F). According to Diamond League records for the competition, the Wind Speed at the time of the event was +2.4 m/s (the positive sign means that the sprinters had a Tail Wind). The City of Eugene is located at an altitude of 131 meters (430 feet) above sea level.
    The event featured a Constellation of Stars, a total of eight athletes, five of them Tokyo Olympians, in five different events in the Women’s: 100m, 200m, 400m, 4x100m Relay, and 4x400m Relay.
    Mujinga Kambundji (Switzerland), Olympic Finalist Women’s 100m, Olympic Finalist Women’s 200m, and Olympic Finalist Women’s 4x100m Relay.
    Former University of Oregon Duck Jenna Prandini (USA), Olympic Silver Medalist Women’s 4x100m Relay, Olympic Semifinalist Women’s 200m, Olympic Semifinalist Women’s 100m.
    Dina Asher-Smith (Great Britain), Olympic Bronze Medalist Women’s 4x100m Relay.
    Former Harvard University Crimson Gabrielle "Gabby" Thomas (USA), Olympic Silver Medalist Women’s 4x100m Relay, Olympic Bronze Medalist Women’s 200m.
    Former USC Trojan Allyson Felix (USA), Olympic Gold Medalist Women’s 4x400m Relay, Olympic Bronze Medalist Women’s 400m.
    Side Note: Allyson Felix is the Most Decorated Woman in Olympic Track & Field History, with 11 medals in Five Consecutive Olympic Games. In addition, Felix is currently the most decorated athlete male or female in World Championship Track & Field Competition with 18 Medals. End Side Note.
    über side note: 35-year-old Felix set a Masters World Record twice in Tokyo in the Women's 400m event: the first one: Semifinal 3: 49.89s, the second one: at The Final: 49.46s, the last one is TWO-TENTHS of a second slower than her Gold Medal-Winning Beijing World Championships time of 49.26s in 2015. Her Olympic Bronze Medal-Winning time corresponds to an increase in time of 0.406% compared to her Personal Best in the distance, her World Championship Winning time in Beijing in 2015. Masters World Records are sanctioned by the WMA, the World Association of Master Athletes, they start recording such records when athletes are 35 years old. The facts speak for themselves, Felix is an amazingly impressive athlete. End of über side note.
    The Remaining three athletes did not participate in the Tokyo Olympic Games, but, nonetheless, all three have been decorated in World Championship Competition. Their Ranking for the Women’ s 200m event by World Athletics is the following:

    Former University of Georgia Bulldog Lynna Irby (USA), Ranked 18th.
    Former University of Iowa Hawkeye Brittany Brown (USA), Ranked 19th.
    Mujinga Kambundji (Switzerland) running out of lane three outsprinted Dina Asher-Smith (Great Britain) and Gabrielle “Gabby” Thomas (USA) running out of lanes five and six respectively. Kambundji’s Winning Time represented a Personal Best for the Swiss Star.
