The cutting of the dough before baking is sometimes called "blessing" as I've learned recently and that made me happy, because in my country we share the same sentiment historically. Especially during festive events and holidays of the church they received the most beautiful "blessings". I remember some european countries even created specific bread decorations for the holidays.

We use razor blade for two completely different reasons
Amazing scoring- may I ask, do you chill your dough in the fridge or even place it in the freezer for a short while ahead of scoring please?
she freezes the shaped dough about 30’ before scoring it

Yes, after 5-7 minutes of baking you cut them again to prevent random cracks

That's cold dough. 30 minutes at 450 in dutch oven with top on, then 10 minutes with top off
My bread is always too soft to score. Don’t know what I’m doing wrong!
