Amazing Work! I didn't expect there to be such realistic gore in relation to the plasma damage. The way you showcased the environment was also really well done, I can't imagine it was easy to animate figures moving on a small boat, especially in a fight scene. Finally, the score worked amazingly alongside the suspense and sound design. Your work truly is an inspiration :)

Really cool to see a Crack at a water animation and one done with one of those alternate builds! Really liked the little details like the grappling of the Jerry can and the driver hand getting shot off it was a little wierd seeing chief like hanging off the side of the boat to avoid the chieftain hammer but overall great animation!
Duuuude! This was stellar 🔥🔥 The set pieces looked beautiful, Action was choreographed brilliantly, The music was so atmospheric and in sync with the action, The animation was silky smooth 👌 with the camera angles really complementing it! And the idea was GENIUS! Love seeing the alternate build getting some love ❤️ Splendid work 👏👏👏👏👏👏
Great work man. From then sets to the smooth and snappy animation to the audio design to the visual and practical effects this was truly a great animation. What really stood out to me was the Camara movements, the Camara was constantly moving either side ways with the set to portray movement or with zooms and shake. The music by Clic studios also really elevated the animation. Not to mention this animation had a very unique idea behind the setting and concept. Great stuff
The camera work is probably my favourite part of this whole animation, it's very moody and well paced, the action is pretty darn creative you won't see this everywhere, the lighting could've been more experimental and contrasted to fit the mood better, and the animation is moslty perfect, except for some very specific shots. Overall, here we have a solid 3min stopmotion shortfilm which is a 3min well spent and very enjoyable. I had a blast working with you, and I can't wait to work on something with you again:))
Amazing work Stinger! I loved the atmosphere of this one. I hate trying to give critiques on animations cause it feels like it implies I didn’t like it or I think I could do better or something. But the only thing I have a critique on is when it comes to the shots before the action that are building tension, I feel some of the camera pans and are too quick, then having that extra couple seconds to play out I feel would help to the overall feel. Anyone on to the stuff I liked, I like that you actually took the time to make use of one of the alternate builds, I like that you managed to depict a boat moving in water in a believable manner. The special effects are great and the practical gore from the plasma looks awesome, and I can’t even imagine the difficulty of animate that many figures on such a small space, you did amazing on that. Also Heavy’s “you are dead” works pretty well for a brute.

OMG this is so fresh. Your effects are so good. The cinematography and camera angles were amazing. Super sad the marines died tho 😭. The way that brute got taken out was actually super clever. Amazing work Stinger. It was so incredibly delightful to watch 👍

I really liked this one! Interesting use of an alt build, and I loved the little effects like the blood and the grappleshot. I’m impressed! I would recommend doing some digital effects for the hammer tho.
Thank you! Yeah that was a tough call for me I was debating adding in digital effects for the hammer, but with the swift motions and the motion blur I didn’t feel the need too. But I will definitely keep it in mind for my next animation, which will most likely feature a hammer again. Thanks!
@@Stinger11Studios I posted a hammer test recently (don’t worry, it’s not trash) where I tested out some effects for it. I just drew some blue and white over a few frames.
This. Is. PERFECTNESS!! I love it so much that I could watch it day and night and not get bored, I mean this is brilliant! All of it was fantastically made and the end was hilarious! Just one question, how do you do that spectacular blood effects, because they look and feel real!
I love it! Gives me predator vibes when they are looking around the forest. Even though some movements felt a bit odd, I still think that the animation is a great job! The set is very nice and dense with trees. I love the blood effects too, how did you do them?
Thank you! Yeah I definitely could have done better on the movements it was just hard with the moving boat at the same time. The practical blood is just sticky tack colored with thin expo pens, red for blood on the outside then I press hard with the black pen to give it the plasma damage and hole like appearance.

Actually I’m pretty sure the “you are dead” dialogue is from halo 3, it just so happens that it sounds like Heavy lmao
