Meeting Chorong after being introduced by Changsub, to doing an interview like this hehe
While listening to her honesty, with the appearance of a leader, it made me think a lot, too. She's my friend, but she's really cool on the inside...It's something that I often think about.
Her position of a leader, her team that she's firmly kept up for 10 years, and how Park Chorong as a person has grown up, and still is growing up. She's a friend who has been doing all of these things maturely at such a young age, that, at times, I think, "Shouldn't she be able to rest a bit now?" But, seeing her working so hard, it would make those words seem embarrassing. She's a friend who gives an energy that motivates me to work hard with her.
She's really kind, and meeting a friend like this is something I'm really grateful for.

이거 보니까 초롱이 인터뷰 하는거만 봐도 5멤버들 이야기 얼마나 진중하게 들어주고 멤버들 사이에 커뮤니케이션이 어느정도 잘되고 있는지 대충 감이 온다...텐션 높은 솔라 말을 차분하게 다 경청하고나서 본인 이야기를 시작하네...에이핑크의 중심은 다른 누구도 아닌 박초롱임.

I didn't really follow Mamamoo much so I can't say much bout Solar. I know they are really close friend. For Chorong, she is one of the rare type of group leader in the industry now. What make her so special is that she is selfless. Comparing her with her group mates, her exposure is probably the lowest. Most of her members got a numbers of individual projects like solo album, drama, TV shows & youtube channel but not her and yet she give support to everyone of her members and sometimes even show up on site to support. She seem more happily supporting her members than doing one for her own. And from this interview I know why already. "Being leader is not to be above or top of your members but to be with them and make sure all of them are together". This is how special this group are.

It's hard to put into words how meaningful this interview was, and how meaningful Chorong is to Pandas. For a lot of music fans, they connect to their artists because of how awesome the artists are. For example, when I listen to SHINee or Loona, I feel a rush from their talent and ambition. From Apink though, I don't really stan them in the "omg Apink is a way of life a revolution a reason to breathe" way. Instead to me, and I think this is how it is for a lot of Pandas -- Apink is comfort. Their music, their presence, the smiles and laughs and joy they bring, gives me a sense of calm I don't really get anywhere else. It makes sense their most famous song starts "슬퍼하지마 no, no, no" (don't be sad, no no no).
When I first listened to them back in 2011 I was so young, confused, and trying to understand how to transition from being a teenager into adulthood. For the past decade, through a lot of tough times and a lot of growth, Apink has always been there, giving me laughter and peace. That peace is Apink's gift, and a big part of why they have it is their leader, Park Chorong. This interview shows Chorong's caring, calm personality that has helped bring peace to so many fans over the years. Her message to her members was so touching, and it was heartwarming to hear Chorong is learning English to communicate with international fans. She's still learning new skills for her fans even after 9 years! Thank you Chorong, and thank you Solar for a great interview.

Just like that, a decade on April 19,2021 with Apink seems surreal. Whenever I'm tired, happy or sad I will always look for Apink contents especially those from pre-debut days.
