I purchased this bag preloved in the traditional monogram print in 55. You never lied, this bag is heavy! Learned my lesson quick. Mine doesn't have the straps... and its literally a carryon now. I pack it lightly lol.
My hubby holds it for me lol going international in two weeks and wasn’t going to bring it just because I didn’t want to deal with it but he was like “ we got that to use as luggage, I will carry it “ lol so I changed my clothes to this one last night 😂he is right .. use my neverfull for a personal item and he got me a passport holder that matches my duffle and bag ❤
I have the 45. I thought the 55 would be too heavy for me. Great review. You can get the rolling cart that pilots use to roll their bags on. It's compact and may help. Yes please show us a video of how you pack your 55.
I want this bag. I do more road trips than flying...I’m torn between the 45 and 55. I think the 45 may be too small but 55 might be too big. Ugh!!! I do pack a lot lol
Hey. Love the video. I've got Keepall 55's in monogram macassar and damier graphite, and have no trouble carrying them when they're heavy. Then again I'm a 210lb man. Lol. Let me know if you want me in your entourage, I'd me more than happy to join! 😉
I have vintage keepall 50 from 1991. I love it and the canvas is thick. It does not have straps so I plan to use it for short trips. I’m afraid to buy new lv because I heard about holes in the new keepalls.
I’ve seen some LV bags that came after the 2010s with holes and scuffs and I can’t help but wonder if the owners dragged them through the ground or something!
I kinda wish i saw the reviews on the 55 before I purchased it. It is heavy. I just got one & I am using it next weekend. I just packed it today. Thk God its a rode trip😂😂😂

I found a keepall 55 B, being sold preloved in excellent condition for a little over $800, was thinking of getting it … I’m 5’2” though, don’t plan on filling it up, I just want a big bag I can keep all my stuff in while I’m sitting in the airport lounge … how tall are you Kia?
Thanks for the video. Do you believe the macassar leather can be conditioned and polished if scratches develop to the leather? I am thinking about purchasing one preloved but wondering if scratches can be cleaned up. Would appreciate any feedback. Thanks!
Main part of bag isn’t even made of leather. It’s made of canvas which is probably some sort of plastic product like vinyl. Not worth 2600 dollars for a bag made just like a 100 dollar bag.
No way, this thing is huge. I would even be worried about them making you check the bag if won’t fit in the overhead compartment. I only use my for weekend trips.

I have the 45 and it’s a perfect weekend bag or even a one nighter but I can’t do at the airport because it gets heavy 😩

Yes. People wear use it for a few weeks and get holes and worn out areas in the canvas.
