This phone is good but the battery doesn't feel like 4000 mAh, it feels less than that. The phone overheats too much. Just regular activities can actually make the phone heat up badly. My older phone doesn't overheat and battery doesn't drain quickly.

Well If you have Always on display then yes the phone will most likely overheat and drains battery a lot to cure this just turn off "Always on display" problem solve

To remove Lag in any games at Galaxy A50 or A30 . Go to Optimize battery usage and go to the app and turn off the bar. Works very well to me i can now play at highest graphics

No way. My old junk phone had everything running and didn't get hot and the battery lasted longer than this brand new A50. This phone is defective. Brand new out of the box and it's hot and draining % right before my eyes. It drained 17% in 20 minutes. This phone sucks!

Do you know anything about battery drain in stand by? I have my a50 and it drains really fast while is in stand by. I have seen people getting 7 or 8 hours of screen on time and I just get 3 or 4.

@@wailbrch4071 yes..bought a50 3 days ago, was using j7 prime before from 2 years which has 3300 mah....that device has far batter battery life than a50 from 100% to 0% it run 2 days but a50 run only morning till night.

Satyam Dewangan you should not have done the updates it slowers the charger speed and worsen the battery life of the phone my friend didn't do any update and he is fine with it (7 hours on hard use)

After a month my phone usually lasts 7+hours and i use my phone alot.
I dont use this phone much but within 20 minutes if usage, the battery only goes down 4-6 percent on estimate. If you wanna compare, this phone has a 4000 mAh battery. It left this phone to charge for 30 minutes and it went up about 40%
Battery has a capacity of 450 charging cycle
Mine is weird it can last for 5 hours or it can last 8 to 9 it depends on the day for some odd reason

I just bought my Galaxy A50 last May 2019 and now experiencing problem with this device saying over heating even if it is already been power off for few hours and just today, 3 hours ago it was totally black out, and cannot turned on anymore :-(
Try to plug it to the charging cable and try turn it on again while it is charging
Lower your brightness, remove your phone case. Worst case scenario you didn't and you fried the motherboard.

Guys i found a way for the battery draining problem...you just have to put your phone in medium battery saving mode...and you can still enable always on display without affecting the battery life....the battery saving doesnt make your phone slower or whatever.....you guys should try...just sharing 😅...tell me if it works
Exynos 990 having Poor signal reception causing the device trying to get a better signal,repetitively and hence, the heating and battery drain issue.
With all the setting to prevent the heating issue, u can c that the hardware n software flaws are significant.
Unless samsung can settle the chipset design issue, no samsung forever
hey i have a question. My samsung a50 screen said that it is overheating so all apps is automatically disabled. A reminder saying that the phone will be automatically switched off (and can't be switched on until cooling process finished) in 10 seconds appeared. Then my phone turned off. How long should i wait before i can switch it on? Its been few hours already. I am quite worried . Help me

@@Blair_Bloo Went to samsung centre. They said it could be the motherboard or if your phone ever fell in water. They fixed my phone for free and yeah it goes back to normal

Yes,but depend from where are you buying because A50 dont came with NFC in some regions.So ask before buying.

Got my A50 a couple of weeks, Battery life is not great, does not perform like 4000mah, more like 3000 or lower, and even battery saver or airplane mode don't seem to help, it still drains.
Yes ,a few people experience different problems with the phone,personlly on my A50 camera have some issues.But lets wait for more updates.

Me my wife and daughter had this phone for two weeks and took them back for the s20. The only good things about it are the screen size and camera. My wife's completely locked up on her and mine would lag while doing simple things like opening settings.

A50 seems to have a few issues so if nothing is working take it back to the cervice center.Ask them to have a look .

Hi,i dont keep the phone on any saver mode and i stay on youtube a lot+facebook and movies and other apps.The phone doesnt get hot.Games i dont play to see if is to hot ot not.And never receive a text saying the phone is to hot or to be overheating.
