Best R/C I’ve bought in 2021 I gotta say is my Kyosho Mini Z AWD. Gotta be some of the funnest racing I’ve ever gotten involved in!
Hadn't driven an RC car in two decades before buying an Notorious 6s. I could have never jumped my gassers the way I do this thing this hobby is awesome.

Retired from the industry, I have to say your choices are rather "eclectic" to say the least. Granted, I've seen every fad come and go longer than most have been alive, but its always interesting to see someone else's perspective.

If nothing else I can definitely say the Redcat Impala Lowrider is a VERY eclectic choice. But a very deserving one as well, it's an RTR for a type of vehicle that used to be purely within the realm of custom builds so it brings a LOT of new stuff to the table.

Can you do a top 10 kits video for those of us that like to build. The only rtr I've bought in recent years is my 8s Kraton. Other than that, my passion for the hobby still lies within the building aspect of it. Great videos. Keep up the good work.
Has there even been 10 kits released in the last 5 years? Sadly kits are going the way of the dinosaurs it seems.

RTRs are cool, but kit building is so fun and satisfying.

@@rcOhio I'm the same. I just finished an Associated t6.2 kit. I've only ran it a handful of times now I'm looking for my next kit. I'm thinking tamiya Blackfoot or their 6x6 kit.

Oddball collection of cars. I enjoyed it. Capra 4WS would have topped the list for me. SCX6 is just a shame for the price. Supersize isn't worth doubling the cost to the consumer IMO.
Sadly there weren't many new releases this year. There were tons of updates to existing platforms, but few brand new platforms.

That was a good list 💯 the low rider is something I’ve wanted since late 90s ex car cation mag low rider build and koysho USA1 has bin on the hit list since early 2000s for me tho I think 3 speed is new.
Super. I'm working on a 1967 Mercury Comet Caliente four door, similar to the vehicle used in the old school Dragnet television series. I can't wait to hear that miniature 289 HO (5.0L) V-8 engine fire up! 💙 T.E.N.

Not too expensive and plenty of power with just a 2S lipo battery.Good value for money.
I like the Traxxas Hoss also but not the same price.

@@AMain_Hobbies Now I remember why I have stopped rc cars for years. 3 runs and the steering servo burned ! my kid will have to wait several days before playing again.
When I clicked on this video, my number one was the Losi LMT and it still is. Another channel (RC Driver) did a detailsed breakdown of this truck and it is very impressive.
That truck is super awesome but I wish the axle housings were more durable.

The vendetta is a must have I have one and it’s the best speed runner ever in my opinion even more fun then the infraction or felony and it’s cheaper to the vendetta is a must have rc car

Hi...thank you for everything you do on the channel, i have learned a lot..but i want to know if you can direct me to where I will find the exact measurements of the TRX4 and Axial 3 chassis, as I want to build it myself because I cant affort to buy me the cars so I have to go to DIY, any advise?

If you buy the No. 1 on this list be prepared to replace the steering servo right away. I bought the 64 and 79 Monte and both went out. Warranty replacements also went out. Redcat will not admit this is a problem. The alternative servo replacement is REEFS RC 99 servo at $60.
The 64 is best of the bunch,...👍😀

Not a bad list. I would not rate them in the same order but mostly based off my own opinions obviously. Not so sure the SX6 deserves a top 10 considering the over-bearing size and its insane price tag. All it turned out to be in most cases was a over-hyped, over advertised, content creator given rig that most average RC enthusiast are not going to buy. But it is an awsome rig regardless - just to "much" in my opinion. And the 64 deserves to be number one for sure. A serious work in progress and years of development. There is so many "good" things about the 64 that it is too much to list. Good list overall.
Pretty sure the SCX-6 was intended to take advantage of the already established 12" doll market for detail parts. It's just the right size to stick an original GI Joe in.
My money is on the USA 1 and merry Christmas 🎄🎁 !
That Kyosho Nitro Monster truck is nice was hoping the Tmaxx and Revo along with Jato 3.3
The T-MAXX, REVO and JATO didn't get an update release in 2021. And even if they did, well, people have gotten wary of the TRX 3.3 engine both for its lack of power (you can get .12s with more horsepower) and its reliability issues (can't hold a tune and the conrod tends to snap more often than comparable engines).

Yes they did and there are treal and vitavon aftermarket parts aswell now

Heard a lot of quality issues with the Red Cat 64 impala.
There's a lot of quality issues across the board with Redcat. They've really turned the company around from their early days as an off-brand but they've still got a bit of a ways to go, particularly in regards to quality control and their still somewhat brittle plastics.
Cmon, the USA 1 is playing in another league. ... for me the best (looking) RC car since years! Thank you Kyosho for all the beautiful nitro RC's!

Sadly no. The only available body styles are the '64 and the '79 Monte Carlo. There might be other styles in the future but we don't know what they are.

I worked at my local hobby shop from 87 to 04.. For most of those years we only sold kits. And very few RTR's.. Now that's about all the hobby shops sell now a days. People are getting to lazy to take the time to sit down and build... When people bring in there broken RTR's They want me to fix them... My favorite saying was. If you can't build it you shouldn't own it!!!! At the time I worked at my local hobby shop we sold most of the common parts that broke on some of the most popular R/C cars. The last time I went into my local hobby shop it seams as though there are fewer & fewer parts on the shelf these days...

That bronco has a solid portal front axle? Don’t tell Ford that Traxxas did it more correctly than the real thing.
The only stock full-size vehicles that come with portal axles are the Mercedes G63 AMG 6x6, the HumVee/Hummer H1 and maybe the Terradyne Gurkah. For everything else they're an aftermarket option. The issue is that due to the increased ride height they make the vehicle harder to drive on public roads.
