Just FYI we have full package of colonizers. Strat from Portugis, Spanish, British, Dutch, and Japan. We also going through both imperialization and colonialization and Thanks God we survived from all of them, that's why even though Indonesia was a group from different tribes that has few similarity but we still intact till now because we have the same experience of how bad imperialist was. Thank you for your reaction and respect. But another sad thing sometimes the imperialist country not even aware that they had done bad things to another country, I don't takes the blames to new generation of that country now but I just hope no other country get occupied again because we also experience when many other country at that time believe that our heroes was the barbaric one until one by one country acknowledge our condition like Palestine, Egypt and many other country at that time, may be that also why we have soft spot for Palestine because they are one of the first country that acknowledge us as an independent country

Pokoknya luarbiasa Alffy saya melihatnya dengan sejarah, lagu-lagu daerah tersebut merupakan perwujudan dari wilayah awal terbentuknya nusantara yang diawali dengan lagu Lingsir Wengi dari Jawa (Tengah dan Timur serta Yogyakarta) sebagai tempat awal dari wilayah yang di sebut NUSANTARA, kemudian meluas sampai se Asia Tenggara. Sayang Huruf Pallawa tidak muncul. Terimakasih juga Alffy diawal dikeluarkan juga cirikhas indonesia Yaitu Sopan Santun Tepo Sliro yang tersusun rapi yang dijunjung tinggi dalam nama Tata Krama sebuah keagungan yang ditinggalkan leluhur kita dari tanah jawa yang sekarang biasa disebut adat ketimuran itu seyogyanya adalah tinggalan Kerajaan Terbesar Di Bumi Nusantara Kerajaan Wilwatikta Majapahit.
Setelah Hancur Kerajaan Terbesar Di Bumi Pertiwi (Wilwatikta Majapahit), Munculah para penjajah (Naga Berkepa Dua) yang menghancurkan bumi nusantara dan dipecah belah. Kemudian Perjuangan kemerdekaan yang mulai dari pemuda bangsa (dalam Video Alffy mengambil Pataka Sanga Dwija Naga Nareswara/ Trisula yang menjadi Tiang dari Pataka Gula Kelapa "Merah Putih") yang sanggup menyatukan potongan potongan wilayah-wilayah yang masih dapat terhubung menjadi sebuah Pergerakan untuk melawan Penjajah, dan akhirnya dengan Persatuan seluruh wilayah menang dari Para Penjajah (Jepang dna Belanda "2 Kepala Naga"), Kemudian menjadi Negara Berdaulat dan Itulah NEGARA KESATUAN REPUBLIK INDONESIA Negara kita tercinta.

Yeah, I agree with you guys. This video shows less symbols and traditions of Indonesia in the past. But the story shown in the video is more complete and simpler. There are only snakes with batik motifs on their skin, 8 fantasy creatures that symbolize 8 regions that used to be one with the archipelago. FYI Nusantara is the name of Indonesia before the arrival of Europeans. The Two-Headed Dragon symbolizes the 2 countries that colonized Indonesia. The Blue Dragon that comes from a fusion of 8 regions in the era of the Majapahit kingdom. and the Garuda Bird which became the National Symbol of Indonesia... 😃

Karena kali ini menceritakan tentang sejarah Indonesia di masa lalu. Sebelumnya Indonesia di sebut Nusantara yang dicetuskan pada masa kejayaan Kerajaan Majapahit. Berbagai kerajaan di Nusantara dan zaman kolonial datang ke Nusantara dan memerangi kerajaan-kerajaan yang ada. Selama ratusan tahun Indonesia dijajah Belanda dan Jepang dan Indonesia berperang melawan Belanda, Jepang dan Inggris. Dan pada akhirnya merdeka 17 Agustus 1945. Selanjutnya Indonesia masih berperang melawan Belanda karena Belanda kembali datang untuk menjajah dan pada akhirnya Belanda menyerah dan mengakui kemerdekaan Indonesia pada tahun 1949
Me too, as an Indonesian i like the part 1 better, it was show more about how much & various the culture we have. But in this part 2 i guess alfi want to tell story about how struggle we had to get independence 😆😁

I'm wondering do you know what does the '8 little friends' at 4:28 "with her 8 little friends" mean? Is that a symbolism for something or just straight up 8 jalak bali? I like to think the 5 pataka to defeat the dragons is Pancasila but I have no idea about the '8 little friends'

Many would probably have thoughts all these are inspired by Avatar. The CGI animation is definitely a yes. But the rests of them are the opposite. Avatar was probably inspired by what We, in Nusantara (Indonesia, Malaysia, The Philippines, Vietnam, Thailand, Myanmar) had and still have until today. The outfits, headpieces, and crowns, we still have them until today. Many of them are even stored in the world's most known museums where the people behind Avatar probably have seen them.

Traditional instrument: It's called Sasando originating from the island of Rote in the East Nusa Tenggara province. Sasando is also called sasandu from the word Sandu or Sanu which means vibrating, is a tube zither, a harp-like traditional music string instrument.

The dragon is called Antaboga. They can be a guardian to us but also can turn into a devil as seen in the video.
The animated gigantic bird is Garuda. The symbol of our nation where all of the most important rules for Indonesian citizens are written in his body, including Pancasila (the 5 principals of Indonesia) and the Bhineka Tunggal Ika (unity in diversity).
Showcasing Garuda is actually not something that everyone can do because it's protected by law. But since this video is also supported by the Ministry of Culture of Indonesia, Alffy Rev and the team must already have permission to do so.

Yg naga kepala dua itu bukan Antaboga. Yg antaboga yg bangkit dr 8 burung kecil dan warnanya biru (semburan apinya jg biru). Di video klipnya, naga antaboga-nya kalah sm naga kepala dua.
