Austin taking a suplex on concrete 20 years after his last match showed how professional he was. Glad to see him one last time in an official match which did actually did not disappoint. I wouldn't mind him not having another one so my last memory of him in a match is a fun one. Thank you Kevin Owens for taking this.

Watching the WWE in my 20 years of life is mind-blowing considering my dad watched him live on Raw in 2000 then 19 years later after his last match LIVE at WrestleMania was like magic to me, he's like my #1 favorite wrestler of all time and I look up to him above the Undertaker in my opinion. He taught me not to trust anyone when things got real in life which is motivating me to become what I wanna be, not just to be just like him but be ofc motivated and inspired! He had an amazing career cut short but such great memories over the years. I know for a fact he'll be remembered as the toughest S☠️B is wrestling history forever

I think Austin himself would have liked to continue after WM XIX but considering the freak out he had before the show’s start that were related to his neck and knee problems as the man himself had explained in interviews, that retirement after XIX was one he’d been forced to take for his own sake to avoid ending up like Droz and I imagine that bothered him for years that he never got a proper send off match on his terms.

His match v Owens was 100x better than I expected. I thought we would see a ‘Goldberg’, 3min match with few moves and a couple of stunners. The fact he wrestled a full match, at a decent pace and took the bumps he did...huge credit to the rattlesnake!
Ted DiBiase deserves more praise than he gets. He debuted Undertaker and Stone Cold. Those 2 are the only 2 who were inducted into the Hall of Fame by Vince McMahon.
I'd love to see Stone Cold in one more Royal Rumble, it would be less physically demanding because he can just rest in the corners and on the ground like everyone does. Hearing the glass shatter after the buzzer goes would be so fun, a part of me though thinks that this could only possibly happen if the Rumble is in Texas.

I see what you mean but consider his match with KO a legacy match. I admire his resolve the man stayed retired for 19 years nobody including him ever thought he’d return but he did. He did it with finesse. Working with someone like K.O. was the right move. He only retired due to nagging injuries and he felt like he retired a little early this is him giving it one last shot where he knows he can perform on a level that matches the prestige of his career 20 years ago. Above all else wrestling is meant to be fun and these guys bend over backwards just to entertain us. Soak it in but enjoy it, it’s fun watching him beat the crap out of K.O. whilst riding a quad bike up the ramp. This is why I fell in love with pro-wrestling. This is what WWE & Wrestlemania are all about.

Austin at WM38 was amazing, it was brawl, nothing more. Obviously Austin knew it was going to be a fight, and he hasn't ruled out having anymore.
