Love your stuff Pedro. A lot of believers are paralysed with inaction and I think God even honours this approach when we are young in the faith. However I still think it’s important that this isn’t where we finish. The verse you mentioned about casting Lots is the chapter before the outpouring at Pentecost. The disciples never cast lots again and began to be led by a higher method namely conviction and impressions born of the Spirit. If we speak in tongues and are led by the Spirit we won’t need these natural methods anymore. The Kingdom is within. I’m glad you teach that as well in some of your other sessions. Keep inspiring. Blessings

I'm so glad when Jesus was in the garden he cast lots before God and ask him whether or not he should die on the Cross... said no one.
"Flip a coin" may work when playing a football game but serious decisions must never be made so flippantly.
For instance should I hand over $2,000 of my hard-earned money to an unknown spiritual guru telling me to flip a coin?
Proverbs 23:23 says, "Buy the truth and sell it not; also wisdom, instruction, and understanding." Anyone who ever charges a price for spiritual truth, wisdom, instruction, and understanding does not come from God. They're actually seeking to con manipulate, and abuse.
Something's going to watch this video who's struggling with whether or not to harm themself or others... Don't flip a coin

The idea that one should "cast lots" to divine the will of God is at best childish superstition and at worst blasphemy of the Holy Spirit.
Jesus has given each and every believer a vastly superior means of knowing the will of God than casting lots. His gift of the indwelling of the Holy Spirit gives our spirit access to God's will for us 24/7. Proverbs 20: 27 says, "The spirit of man is the candle of the Lord that searches out the inward parts of the belly." Jesus said, "He that believes in Me, as the Scripture says, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water” (Jn 7:38). Within our innermost being, God the Holy Spirit infuses Himself with our born again human spirit illuminating our spirit to work as God's candle or guidance system.
Again Jesus says, "But when He the, Spirit of truth, shall come, He will guide you into all the truth. For He will not speak from Himself, but whatever He may hear, He will speak. And He will declare to you the things coming." (Jn 16:13)
The Holy Spirit, the Spirit of Truth has come and now lives in us. Insisting that the Holy Ghost needs "lots" or any other device of divination to lead one into truth demonstrates lack of spiritual maturity as well as their inability to flow in the prophetic gifts. If someone has to consult "lots", a fliped coin, a magic 8 ball, dowsing rods, a crystal pendulum, tarot cards...to hear from God they might as well call Dionne Warwick.
Casting lots in order to be prophetic is pathetic. Jesus said, "My sheep hear my voice, I know them and they follow me. (Jn 10:27)
If preacher encourages the faithful to cast lots or to put out a fleece in order to know God's will, please know they most likely about to be fleeced by a false prophet who runs a non profit organization and is only out for profit.
