These songs are great. This one shoulda been "Knee Deep part 3" imo, lol. But I digress, take it from one more who knows on a deeply personal level - learning to not take someone for granted...can be one of life's most painful lessons to learn. Compounds & complexities of which may exponentially add to the pain. As in my case, one of those forms were of not being allowed any kind of closure. And further, by problems that snowballed afterwards.
My late husband, father of/to our children, was murdered in 2008. Due to corrupt LEO & our messed up systems, the perpetrators, walked. The problems that snowballed w/ our son (now age 20) especially, have made life all kinds of things I wished it weren't. That story, however, is a long one (& like these songs, could be a 3 part series on its own too lol 😉). Don't get me wrong...I appreciate life's gifts, blessings & lessons. I'm also capable of finding meaning in the simple things that others often miss. It's bittersweet, I suppose. But this experience of life just hits differently than I ever expected it to.
In closing, learn from the mistakes of others whenever possible. I feel many from across generations have lost touch with something called introspection. What a powerful & beautiful learning tool it can be! If you don't know intimately what introspection is...take a music break and find out...lots of good teaching here on yt.
A good thing to practice is to always feel good about the last things you say and do with someone before parting ways...just in case that time you just spent together ends up being the last. ❤❤❤
