I went a bit bigger, about a $16 bouquet with a 4 sided base made from 5" X9" boxes of Dollar tree chocolates. I also added in small $1 earbuds, krazy glue, charger cord...little things a teenager would like. Wish I could show you. Thank you so much for posting this!! 👍👍👍

I was looking for something to spruce up my daughter’s 13th birthday dinner at a restaurant and came across this video. Wow, so cute, simple and inexpensive. I used them at each place setting as a thank you gift for the girls. They loved them!
I like the idea of taping the candy to the wooden skewers. I’ve done candy bouquets before where I’ve used hot glue and the hot glue melted a hole in the candy wrapper.

Turned out great. I do mine a little differant. I out the tissue paper on the sticks. I still twist the paper and everything like you do but I stab the stick in the cent of my tissue paper and then twist it and arrange it how I like it. Just a suggestion, but your turned out great. Also I always have a problem with the candy being so heavy that it wants to fall over if I don't have the candy balanced out just right. Any suggestions of a way to make the base heavier?
To make the base heavier you could could use a heavier styrofoam found at your local craft store if you don't want to go the dollar Tree route. You could also add a few stones you find at the dollar Tree and hot glue them to the bottom to make it heavier as well hope that helps. I would love to see what you come up with 🙂
+aketha moore Cutting the sticks down to the correct size is key. Putting the candy at different levels serves 2 purposes. 1 it's visually filling but also 2 it helps with weight distribution. Thanks for watching 😀
That's cute.....but maybe have only one of each candy bar/ bag....That way you could have many different kinds. M&M's, mounds, 3Musketeer, all the ones you have....etc.....Cute...

Walmart has a great feature in there app where if you are looking for an item all you have to do is type in the item and click the “at your store” option and it will tell you the aisle the item is in.
The 100 calorie bars are usually 2 for $1 most places and the other candy is all $1 most stores so that's $4 + 5 for the candy alone. I don't think she was including the rest of the supplies in the price
3 milk duds=3.00, 1 block of foam 1.00, 1 bag of skewers=2.00....6.00 so far. How is this even close to ten dollars? Dove chocolate 4.00, Hershey's=1.50, Large twix plus 4 small twix=2.00, tissue paper at dollar store=1.00 ; 14.50 at this point. add a bag of lollipops=1.00, =15.50. It's very nice but a false claim.
Not sure where you live but in Indiana candy is not 2.00 more like 49cent for dove and 98cent for large chocolate bars sooo umm yeah def not a false claim. You tried it though 😂
