I died when you did the clock from The Big Comfy Couch! That used to be my favorite show when I was little. You are amazing. Thank you for bringing back so many wonderful memories! :)
I remember one time when my neighbour and I jinxed, I called it, held my fingers together and counted. He didn't break them apart in time, so I told him he owed me a pop, and he looked at me completely serious, turned around and ran home. Not 2 minutes later he returned and handed me a pop. It was so cool. I adore the vids man, made my day :)
Man....I remember computers back when you had to press Apple, control, and reset button in order to power off. I also remember the zenith and Compaq brands being the best modeled electronics. I use to watch the big comfy couch, ninjas turtles, sailor moon, hey Arnold and much more after school. I still have my tape recorder and CD players. Lol
At the Big Comfy Couch clock part I was hit with such a wave of nostalgia I passed out. I'm not sure how long I was out but my clockhands read one twleve.
This made me want to sob. I loved the 90s I'm so glad I got to be a kid in the 90s, it was soo epic and awesome. I wouldn't trade those day for the richest kid, I had the best childhood ever. The one thing I loved about the 90s is, in my neighborhood, we sat on the porch and started "Clubs" all the time, with a President and a Treasurer and an Activity Coordinator and we'd get sooo excited about it that day and forget about it the next, lol. We were soo random and imaginative. It was fantastic.
0:14 That sound brings back soooo many memories. HEY! Arnold!!!!!!! I watched that the other day, felt like I was five again; except I had to stay up late to watch it because they don't play cool shows like that during the day anymore. Though it started in 1999, Ed, Edd, and Eddy has to be the ultimate in 90s kids tv shows.
Everything about the nineties; I loved every year of it and born right in the 90's. Are you afraid of the dark? Skip it, The big comfy couch, you name it; was every show including the songs and movies!!!
"Are You Afraid of the Dark?" FRICKIN YES!!!!!! I thought my sisters and I were the ONLY ones who knew about that Canadian triumph since nobody else we know ever seems to know what it is!! We used to watch it every Sunday when it was on.
So true. I am 21 years old now and I used to play outside with my friends A LOT. Whenever I would drive with my mom as a kid, there used to be a load of kids playing around. Now anywhere I go, everything is DEAD. Nowadays, most people are so paranoid, angry and dull who just sit inside their homes and play with their I-pads, smartphones and stay on the computer for countless hours.
Those internet connection sounds are B-E-A-UTIFUL!! And I still use 'NOT' and 'PSYCHE' to this day!! And the 'Move it football head!!' brought back great memories!! Oh Helga, oh how you loved that football head shaped, untucked shirt and blue cap wearing guy!! And I really feel for some Sunny D right now, anyone else??
ahhhh brings back so many memories. waking up on saturdays with my cereal watching REAL cartoons=]. then going playing my gameboy or 64. oh how i miss the 90s=[
AMAZING! Every single thing is something my friends and I would've said. You even got the "if I was green I would die" vs. "abadidabadi" debate in there, a very hot topic at the time. Gold. Part 3, please?
I was born in '97 and know exactly what he's talking about. I even remember the dial up noise and how you couldn't use the phone if someone was on the net. I still have my furbies too.
90's kids lived the 90's, as older kids, being able to remember it from start to finish, or in between the decade. like I remember when n64 first released im 96. If you can remember movies like home alone when it first released, that is a real 90's kid.
OMG...the dial-up noise was classic and i always hated how you couldn't use the phone and the internet at the same time. And the big comfy couch exercise was hilarious i always hated that show but couldn't stop watching it. At the end were you trying to mimic light up shoes?? Those were the best.
"I know you are but what am i?" I still say that. and I still do the snack pack thing, with licking the cover first before eating the pudding....i miss the 90's
OMG, I love the Big Comfy Couch and dial-up internet reference. Spot on! Other things I would've mentioned: "Ice, Ice baby" by Vanilla Ice, obsession with overalls, beaded hair, velcro shoes, light up shoes, scooters (or Razrs), nerf balls, bop it, Maa-haa from the amanda show.
I went to Adventure Land the other day- and EVERYONE was on their phone. This guy was even on his phone while on the ride. They even have a charging station and an area with free wifi. People are OBSESSED with their phones. No one even spends actual time with each other anymore!
I know I'm not a true 90's kid. However, I do remember several of the things in this video quite well. I watched Blues Clues, Rugrats and Hey Arnold every day. I've never felt like I'm really from any particular decade. My interests do not reflect my age. Again, I agree with you. Thanks for being nice about it.
I remember waiting hours for windows to turn the computer on and it was worth it. Now when you have a commercial before a video there's have no patience for it.
THE COMFY COUCH REFERENCE YAAAAASS
Big comfy couch! That was my show. I loved the 90s. Born 1983 and cherish every moment of it baby!!!
I died when you did the clock from The Big Comfy Couch! That used to be my favorite show when I was little. You are amazing. Thank you for bringing back so many wonderful memories! :)

I was weak when you did the Dial-Up tone! My mom would always kick me off when she needed to use the phone!
So true. I am 21 years old now and I used to play outside with my friends A LOT. Whenever I would drive with my mom as a kid, there used to be a load of kids playing around. The best is being an 80s/90s gap kid. That way you get almost all the references in this video, and vids about the 80's!
