Thanks for doing these videos Kev. People need to know what's involved when they throw stuff away and how vital recycling and material separation are.
The problem with UK waste is that it's normally wet so clogs up the holes in the trommel so the fines can't get through .
This is one thing I have asked before when getting a skip if it's just soil or hardcore etc is it cheaper ? The answer is normally no so you have no incentive as the producer to keep things separated . So you just throw it all I together.
