Man, I feel like I just watched a slice of toy train history -- which I did. To my elderly eyes the locos looked brand new, quite a restoration job. I can only imagine how long it took you to create this collection -- not to mention the money. Thanks for sharing. I always enjoy your videos.
That was awesome, and informative, while watching engines I've only seen pictures of running. I will say, they looked right at home on the T-rail. On the modern tubular, not so much. But I did like that camera angle over looking the layout. Rod
The Vanderbilts are exclusive to this style Prewar locos, too bad as I agree they look great. Ooops, there is one exception, the gunmetal 763E Hudson also came with a 263W or 2263W Vandy tender. I would have liked to see some of the Lionel Jr locos with Vandy tenders instead of just the smooth-top 1689T type. A 1689E CV loco would have looked great with a LL Jr Vandy tender.

It took only about 50 years to create this collection. Only one loco, the gray 260E is restored, others are original. Thanks for watching.
Thank you for creating this informative video! It is always enjoyable watching trains on your layout, too.

Wonderful old trains!
Thanks for watching.
I like all the Vanderbilt tenders. I made my own for S-gauge operation.
