    Just received mine. Blue/No date. Had to fiddle with the tight screws and getting the links moved around as the right fit meant moving some links from one side to the other. I can’t stand it when the clasp isn’t dead center on my wrist! But after that I’m just enjoying this comfy fit. Can’t wait to see it in sunlight tomorrow.

    Looks great! Another watch that you should look at is the Maen Manhattan 37. Lovely integrated bracelet with some cool vintage inspiration! I just bought one and love mine. I think your viewers would be impressed!

    Great vid. Glad you covered it. Saw it on TGV’s SOTC vid this week, and was really impressed. I love the design cues. I could actually seeing owning PRX, 12, and the F77.

    I just purchased that F77 without a date, with blue waffle dial for only $840 (pre-owned) USD and looks amazing ... thank you for your review, that made me pull the trigger!

  • @thodorissaritziotis3306
    @thodorissaritziotis3306 10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

    Agree with you!
    The F77 seems to be offering more than the hyped Prx and it probably looks better, at least i seem to like it a bit more, but at the same time, it does cost almost the double amount of money than the Prx!
    So, i think only watch enthusiasts would apreciate the "extra watch" and therefore, be willing to pay the extra money...
    Great video!
    Thanks Chris!

    Nice watch, however you are wrong about the CW 12 and there not being a dateless version, this watch is 37mm? Well, go down to the 36mm CW 12 and it is only available dateless 👍

    Can we talk about
    the screw slots lining up parallel with the bezel... that's attention to detail and craftmanship.

    Costing almost double the price of the PRX I would hope for "more" watch. But then I absolutely love the PRX and have no reason buying a similar style. Oops I already bought the Certina DS-7 Powermatic 😆

  • @ramspencer5492
    @ramspencer5492 ปีที่แล้ว +4

    It's cool.... Especially of you want that true vintage aesthetic. The sizing is just right for a lot of people.... 40mm often runs too big on an integrated bracelet style watch...35mm is kinds of undersized

  • @asdfyxcv1100
    @asdfyxcv1100 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Getting confused with the thickness measurements. Nivada on their website say 12.6, I saw another video where it says 11.7 and here it's 11mms. So how thick is it really, including the domed crystal...

  • @AdAce21
    @AdAce21 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I dunno. I have the ice blue PRX powermatic in 35mm and I love it. The dial is amazing and it's half the price of this. This does have an admittedly awesome dial though.

    I think they will find a lot more buyers with redesigned end links. Maybe its true to the original but kind of negates the 37mm width.

    The dot on your shirt better change colors when you get it wet. I think this is better than the PRX, worse than the CW twelve, and worse than the Maen Manhattan 37. I don’t like the end links, they don't blend especially well and the brushing doesn't match. I think the minute and second hands are too short. The lug lenght is very long for 37mm watch. I have the PRX, twelve, and Manhattan 37. I think I'll pass on this one.

    I feel that the PRX looks like it is more authentically from the 70's era it's trying to capture than this Nivada or the CW Twelve. Having said that, the Twelve looks way more premium than the PRX. For me, this Nivada, looks like it falls somewhere in-between the PRX and the Twelve, quality wise. In other words, it's expensive for what it is, in my opinion.

  • @alwaysforward28

    i’ve never handled either in person, but the tissot bracelet looks better in photos. i think the bracelet design is kinda important on this genre of watch, no? the end links on the nivada disrupt the case to bracelet visual flow

    I haven't bought an integrated bracelet watch . To me it's just a fad that will pass. In ten years the RO will still be there for those with the finance, and maybe the PRX for those working to a tight budget. The rest I'm not sure about.
