how do i control it automatically based on some threshold temp value?
Can I control the brightness of the bulb using some kind of sensor ? If so what should be the code ? Like if there is any motion detection then light will glow upto max 100% and when motion is not detected it should be 50%
Yeah something like that. You can do , the code is pretty easy i think you can edit the code pretty easily.

can one dimmer module be used for several lamps with different brightness levels?
i don't think so but one zero crossing you can use but you have to use each moc3021 & bt136 for each of the lapms

Honestly i am not sure.. it might be due to some library issue or some new Arduino version issue but the time i used it , it was working perfectly.

Well for most of the led bulb won't support Dimming, So the Dimming led bulb are different they mentioned as it has Dimming capability. And if you could explain your issue in detail i'll able to help you then.

Please explain what do you mean by multiple? You mean connect more than one load to the same driver? Because it is one channel.

Then there is a 3 channel variant of the dimmer is available in the market. You can use multiple dimmers with one Arduino board as well.
