First Weeks of Slow Travel Vanlife | New Rhythms and Routines

We’re back on the road - this time slow traveling!
From the past few weeks we learned that the journey is just as important as the destination and as we wandered around planning our destinations we embraced the journey in the fullest.
We gave ourselves time to adapt to the new rhythms and routines of life on the road, continue with small projects in the van and our favorite - meet people and share stories.
In order to do our slow travel and have safe places to stay we used a service called Harvest Hosts and Boondockers Welcome, which connects travelers with people or businesses that have a place to stay overnight (whether it is for one night stopovers, or longer stays like we did!)
With a majority of our projects in our van complete, and our new rhythms established, we have a plan for what the future of travel looks like in our van…

When I did your van tour I noticed your backsplash. I really thought it was tile. It is a little busy but it makes the space look vibrant and beautiful.
