Makes you think how Amy went from a random civilian Sonic saved to one of his closest friends while she grew to be stronger, faster and still keeping her feminity. How many times did you save the world at 15? Or 8 in Tails case. How many times did you run through loops and hills instead of going to School? Do any Sonic characters go to school? It might be icky to have a girlfriend in your eyes. That's probably why Sega never fully ships them, because they want Sonic to be care free and not worry about a relationship. But in plenty of games the player gets the choice as to whether or not they (as Sonic) want to go on a date with or be with Amy. He's blushing in some games when she hugs him. When a girl I didn't like hugged me I just made an uncomfortable face. No blushing. Look up the scene in Unleadhed where Amy finds Sonic in Werehog form and she runs away saying "sorry I thought you were Sonic" as she's running away Sonic holds up an arm longingly. I think thats how she was originally design. Sonic and Amy were going to be lovers similar to Mickey and Minnie, but it wasn't fitting for Sonic's character so Amy became a hopeless romantic. She did end up evolving into a stalker unfortunately.

Rodrick Young how old are you? Because the point the other person was illustrating is that dating someone older than you is a normal thing. Plus they're obviously not based on real world people. How many times did you save the world at 15? Or 8 in Tails case. How many times did you run through loops and hills instead of going to School? Do any Sonic characters go to school?
It might be icky to have a girlfriend in your eyes. That's probably why Sega never fully ships them, because they want Sonic to be care free and not worry about a relationship. But in plenty of games the player gets the choice as to whether or not they (as Sonic) want to go on a date with or be with Amy. He's blushing in some games when she hugs him. When a girl I didn't like hugged me I just made an uncomfortable face. No blushing.
Look up the scene in Unleadhed where Amy finds Sonic in Werehog form and she runs away saying "sorry I thought you were Sonic" as she's running away Sonic holds up an arm longingly. Like he didn't want her to leave. If a girl I didn't like did that I would just let her leave, maybe even be happy she left. I wouldn't put up my arm reaching for her not to to leave
@Rodrick Young assuming what exactly? If you're older than 15 you probably already know the way Sonic reacts isn't the way a person reacts when someone they don't like flirts with them. Sega literally has games where it says Amy is Sonic's love interest. Amy's description in the Secret rings for example says she's Sonic's love interest.
Or are you talking about the person telling you about a relationship? There's nothing you need to know about people personally to understand that people sometimes marry someone 10, 15years older than them. You don't need to know anyone's life story to accept that 3 years is nothing.
Also you don't believe the games when they describe her like that but you believe you know for a fact that Amy isn't the girl for Sonic? Even though in game she's the only recurring girl presented as a love interest
@Rodrick Young that's not my point. My point is that in a lot of the games she is presented as a love interest. Nobody is saying Sonic has to marry her. At least I'm not.
I'm just saying that Sonic def likes her in some way. He doesn't want to be in a relationship, maybe he's too shy, maybe he doesn't like commitment, maybe he doesn't want her in more danger, maybe he wants to explore the world before even considering settling down. But you have to admit he has feelings for her. Lastly, how would you know Amy isn't the girl for Sonic conclusively? Keep in mind I haven't said she Is the girl for him, all I said was he's in to her. But you're saying you know she's not for him. How would you know that?

I think thats how she was originally design. Sonic and Amy were going to be lovers similar to Mickey and Minnie, but it wasn't fitting for Sonic's character so Amy became a hopeless romantic.
She did end up evolving into a stalker unfortunately.

I only put this comment as a joke because it's a running thing in the all the games for Sega to go and pan the camera like that on amy. Out of all the camera angles they could use in the cutscenes, they tend to make sure they include that one for some reason. Pedophilia is not ok.

They never let Amy do anything else to do but be in love with sonic and that she is just an extra that no one ever took the time to make her grow as a character it just breaks my heart that they just throw her aside and just say oh she is just in love with sonic she is ObSessEd WitH SoNic they made her less of character they made her sooo annoying but that is their fault but she is misunderstood she never got to be the strong Amy Rose that we never really got to see I just wish Amy got to be a stronger character but they did make her useful in some parts and just made her a side character again I wish Amy would get better parts in the future
