Not at all... Actually i did do abhishekam with water after every few items, but that would just have increased the duration of video if i had shown it. I have cut all that and shown the remaining bits.

You can put this at the root of any plants or trees. It becomes manure. Make sure that nobody steps on it. In case you have pots and plants in your house, then pour at the roots and cover it with more soil.

Madam I am noticed one thing that in Southern India Kumkum turmeric and neem is used in every Abhishekam why is it so
Sir, it is not used for every abhishekam. Neem leaves will be used only for durga and avatars of durga. Kunkum and turmeric are the signs of a sumangali. That is why we use it for abhishekam for all the devis.

It was a gift from a temple. They used to worship this idol at the temple. It weights around 10kg. So, i am expecting this to cost around Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 12,000.

It is Durga Parameshwari temple near Tumkur, Karnataka. You can visit the temple and request. But you can also order this at any brass idol shop or antique shop and they will do it for you. If you need a photo of this idol, please mail me at honnaras.arts@gmail.com.
You can also try at KR market bangalore. There is one entire street parallel to KR market which is only for brass idols and pooja items.

This year, they are celebrating only for 3 days as someone passed away in their family. You will have to check with them only.

Maam, please dont mind me saying this. I dont know how to say, actually I had done Navaratri decoration at the temple for 2 years in a row with my own money as a seva. They were very pleased and wanted to give me something as a gratitude and since I was not ready to take money, they gave me this idol. I had asked them once for getting me a durga idol and I will pay for it, but even after waiting for 1 year, I could not get it. I had lost all hopes and after I did the seva for the second year, they gave me the idol which was already there in the temple. Couple of my friends also want idols like this and we have waited for 1 year and still waiting. I will not be able to ask them all these as I am a devotee there and getting such things done will look like I am exploiting their gratitude. They will not give it for money maam. Money means nothing for them. I am enquiring at other shops if they can make similar idols and ship across india and abroad. Once I get some information I will share with you. May I know in which city you stay?

It is not wasted.. There is an order in which abhishekam has to be done. After abhishekam, we pour this to the root of a plant or a tree, esp coconut tree and it becomes precious manure.
We shouldn't throw the eatable items because it is prasadam we should consume it I think u should have take to bowl for eatable abishakem saparate and other for turmice and others

Thanks for the suggestion. Yes, you are right, but my idol is very big and heavy. I dont have anything that big to keep durga within. Also, you should not disturb the idol from moving one place to another during pooja or abhishekam. Moreover, we put such abhisheka items to the roots of the plants where people do not walk. Thus this becomes manure and is not contaminated.
