Several years ago l bought a “Wrought Iron Ornament Display Tree” it’s 72”H X 36”W at the base. I hate assembling it and disassembling it just for Christmas because, I live alone and it’s physically difficult for me. I’m widowed and an empty nester with lots of grandchildren... So, l decided to leave it up year round and “Redecorate” it for every Holiday. Usually two weeks before whatever “Holiday” it is, l have several of my Grandchildren spend the weekend and we handmade all of the the decorations. It’s so much fun and l take lots of photos of us! Besides Christmas we’re decorated Nanny’s Tree for the following: - Valentine’s Day: Felt Heart of Pink, Red or White and Framed Photos of Nanny’s Sweetheart a.k.a. My Grandchildren! - St. Patrick’s Day: I use DollarTree “Witch’s Cauldron” as a Leprechaun’s Pot-of-Gold. - Easter: Plastic Eggs with Candy or Money, Tiny Easter Baskets and Plush Bunnies & Ducks. - “Spring” I simply remove the Bunnies and Eggs off the tree from Easter and add some Spring Flowers. - Mother’s Day: Photos of my four daughter-in-law‘s with their children and me with mine. - Father’s Day: Photos of my four sons with their children and my late husband with ours. - Flag Day, Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Veteran’s Day is mostly the same decorations. - Summer: Beach and Pool themes with “Summer” Sports. - Autumn, Halloween and Thanksgiving, l use basic “Autumnal” items and Swap stuff out. - Christmas: I prefer to do the Christmas tree by myself so my grandchildren will be surprised. It definitely keeps me extremely busy. 😂🤣♥️👵🏻
Oh, this sounds like so much fun for your grandkids and your whole family. Great idea. Decorating at Nanny's house. My grandkids call me Nanny also.❤️😍❤️
It's not as dangerous as it sounds.. Before chocolate is toxic to dogs they would have to eat pure baking chocolate, & it would have to be 1 ounce of chocolate for each pound that the dog weighs.
Love the Easter decorated tree! Children will love that. It’s such a great way to celebrate the holidays throughout the year and bring happiness back into our homes! TFS all these great ideas! Decorating the outside tress is also important and they turned out so pretty! ❤️🇨🇦
Love your Easter Tree. I have a fake green Christmas Tree out on my front porch. I ready have white twinkling lights on it. I put red and white lights on for Valentine's Day. Unplugged the red one's put St. Patrick's scarfs on it and had white lights on it. So I'm getting ready to decorate it for Easter. Thank you for all your ideas.❤️😊😍❤️
WowWee that made me that more excited. About doing something for Easter for the grandchildren especially this. I do still have a small tree up. Thank you for sharing
You could make the "hole" you strung them on the string with slightly bigger and at the open close part so you could put them over lights on a string of old Christmas lights so they light up!
I love this. Soooooo Cute. And budget friend. My grandkids would've loved to do this when they were little. Heck they probably still would enjoy doing this. Thank you for showing us your ideas. I was talking about the eggs you strung in the tree and let them hang. Are dogs are old so they was taught a long time ago not to mess with stuff like this.❤️😍❤️
Thank you for this. I’ll try doing the Easter decorated tree with my grandkids. Does anyone have an idea for Easter besides chicks and bunnies that would celebrate the real reason for Easter I could do with little ones?
OK idea is cute but I'd be worried a cat or another animal (squirrel or deer etc.) would ingest the string and end up in trouble medically. .I think that's why you said about hanging higher in tree..... But it would have been adorable done in loops on the porch front railing and more noticeable as well .just saying you could also find out what plants deer and squirrels won't go near and put some of that inside eggs to deter wildlife from ingesting something that could make them sick or possibly kill them

I love this idea and I especially like it is easy to make and set up.
Loving the Easter tree!

Or even just make the bottom hole big enough to stick the light bulb inside of

I can't believe I sat here watching someone string plastic eggs and hang them from a tree..😶🚫
Haaa.. me too! But I did fast forward 😄
I would add bead in
Use a drill and fish line
🥰🥰🥰
Easter Christmas?

The point of this is.....?
Great
More offerings to the goddess of fertility.
Silly Rabbit, resurrection Sunday is for Jesus.
Combining 2 pagan holiday symbols into 1, 👎
Why did you watch the video? It clearly states this is an Easter project.
Idiot don't like the video don't watch it
Silly Rabbit, resurrection Sunday is for Jesus.
@Minerva A
The colored eggs are from the goddess of fertility. There a difference.
Ciao Guardate se vi piacciono i miei video grazie
