1967 saw the introduction of the Chevrolet Camaro, and by mid-year, a hot one called the Z/28 was offered. Z/28 was option code for the Special Performance Package, which packed a high-revving 302 V8, 4-speed manual, 12-bolt rear, 15” wheels, and other upgrades into a basic Camaro turning it into a Trans Am inspired road racer. This one is nearly new, with just over 7,000 miles on the clock. From The Brothers Collection.

Owned a '67 Camaro SS, 350 CI, 4 sp with a 4:10 rear end. Unique to the car was the rear window defrost and a fold down rear seat. Strong running car, got a friend by a fender who had a '70 Nova with a 396, 375 HP. Of all the cars I've owned over the years it's the one I would love to have back.

Awesome looking.car, though it depends on the car as far as leaving them as is or restoring them

You never restore a nice original car, it's only original once.
The guys that take car of these cars are in motor head heaven, what a great job.

Original vs Restore. That's a subjective decision. If it's all intact and in reasonable condition, leave it original. But if it's missing key parts (non correct replacements), in rough condition, unreliable, then restore it. It's up to the owner to draw the lines by definition.

That car sounds really great. This one needs to stay original. There was a '67 Z28 that sat in the woods near my house for years. It's been hauled off for scrap metal now, but the VIN and original title still exist. The original block was still around but I don't know where it is now. The 4.10 12 bolt and 4 piston disc brakes were swapped onto a base '67 Camaro that belonged to a friend of mine, and then sold.

How many owners have Not driven that Z28 all these years?

    • @jasonleedham5678

I totally agree, cars are to drive not look at, although the problem is after 50+ years its hard to say how much it should be used now........Makes you wonder what kind of person bought a new car to not use?????

Great car the Z/28. Only brand loyalty can make the choice between it and the Mustang. Video didn't show up on the subscription TH-cam page.

Original is best - especially if it's in good shape. Great shot @ 2:53

This one's too good to restore. Leave it be.
Car restoration depends on the condition. If it's really good, leave it be. If it's crap, restore it. If it's a custom project, go crazy.
