Xolaani is a master hemomancer (blood magic). She used to be a beloved healer, but after seeing firsthand the suffering brought about by war, she believes the only way to stop pointless wars is to blood bend everyone to her will because she doesn't trust them to be able to take care of themselves, seeing them as foolish children.
That's why Taarosh was struggling; Xolaani was forcefully blood-bending him to speak those words.
Also Aatrox wants to end the World while Xolaani wants everyone to live peacefully and be obediant.

i see, thanks for all this info. its interesting to know these lore about champions, so its always welcome here. Aatrox was once an ascended, so he did fight for good and wanted peace. its just well the prison has fnucked him over...i really would like to see more interaction between Aatrox and Xolaani in the future. would be kind of cool.
