Part of the reason this is a good speech is because it transcends time. In 50 years when kids in school see this clip they will not care about the grievances of the 2020's or the problems with trump. They will care about the message Biden put forth and that is why it was the right call for him to focus on the future and not the present in his words.
People criticizing his speech are pushing an agenda or seeing things through a filter that skews the essence of the speech. It's a purely patriotic speech that doesn't throw any low blows. It would resonate with me regardless of the party of the speaker. It's American.
