your videos are great man and you/your content are severely underappreciated on TH-cam. I love these types of videos as well as your professional career advise stuff. I have spent toooo much time in picking my own funds, all equities, with various percentages going to sub-sectors (large/mid/small/real estate/international large/mid/small, and emerging) of my portfolio but god do I love it - 25yo, with high risk tolerance and long time horizon (30 years). I know you are very conservative with the information you share because of your professional designations but hearing a deeper elaboration of your opinion would be awesome. Even just sharing why someone should consider a position in bonds would be neat since I never saw the point. Keep it up, appreciate the content you put out! PS: if you would be up to it (read, if you are allowed to), I would be happy to DM you my portfolio and you could do a commentary video (not suggestion / recommendation but just opinion piece) about it relative to my personal characteristics that I shared above (age, time horizon, risk tolerance) - let me know that sounds like something you would do - I would be happy to be a guinea pig for the content!
Daniel, Yes! Both great ideas. I would love to make a video about using bonds, since I love having that conversation with clients. And that portfolio reaction video sounds awesome. Send it to me at my email. AJ
Because they get all the attention for being the lowest cost, when they aren't really the lowest cost in most cases. Its splitting hair, but i don't understand why they have so many fans.

request: vid on how a retail investor can invest in emerging and frontier markets, specifically south america (e.g. bolivia, peru, colombia) and central asia/eastern europe (e.g. pakistan, belarus)
Thanks for another valuable video. A few things I'd like to learn more about: risk and return projections/characteristics; forward testing of potential changes; optimization rebalancing; investment class historic trends and research; documentation of processes. On documentation--how do you track your thought process on a specific portfolio over a long period of time? I assume its important to record everything potential portfolio route and assessment along the life of a client's portfolio. On the research of historic trends- itd be interesting to see your take on research addressed by Ben Felix,, or even just your own interpretation/breakdown of studies you think are important. Thanks again! I'm also curious what your motivation is for this channel--can you set up a Patreon? Are you legally allowed to do that? I doubt youtube ads pay well enough for your efforts--maybe I'm wrong. Is this a marketing effort for your business? Just curious--please keep the content coming.
Understood, it is proprietary info. Thank you for the video, though. Would you be allowed by the firm to independently review 3rd party tools/platforms to analyst asset allocation, that does regressions and projections?
That’s a long video to say…here’s how to not beat or even match the market and for that honor of not matching the market you can pay us 1-3% of your wealth each year
A guest on The Wall Street Journal Report spoke sometime last week about making over $431,000 in 4months with a capital of $100,000, which made me realize that as a beginner i have alot to learn, so please assist me with any pointers or tips that would help me make this much profit.
I like the cool manner you talk in. Thanks for the video.

@@straighttalks-ajsrmek323 you got it
Such a great video and quite great knowledge we learn with AJ
I agree with what you said when you were talking about active vs. passive performance, but do not think Private equity managers fit in that sleeve.
Why not? They are picking companies to invest in.
Can you share your opinion on Tesla and the WSB community ?
Great video idea. I will do this, yes!.
Why the negative Vanguard remark? Their index funds are among the low cost in the business.

thoughts on meldrum going 100% cash?
When did he do that? I could make some thoughts about it if I heard his reasoning.

I don't actually know the answer to this question haha. I tried to find a way to buy into Venezuela earlier this year and couldn't.
Thank you for your knowledge 👍

Hi Kevin,
Many good questions here. Can you please email me at straighttalksbusiness@gmail.com and I will get back to you on all of these.
I’d love to see your response to the questions as well!! They’re good detailed questions beyond the basic AA and location. Thanks.
@@Mspeg1967 I will email my responses to Kevin to you.

#1 is COST, then Asset Allocation. The entertainment industry. Sorry, finance industry, has been lying about this for decades.
No, at a basic level asset allocation is far more important than cost when it comes to returns.
