lol cat's are so reluctant.. It's like they know we're calling them, they definitely have the intelligence to associate commands with actions, they just choose not to obey..Almost as if they're saying "I understand what you're telling me to do, but why the hell should I do it", Great video though..
ya my cat only does her "tricks" like "come" and "sit" and "give five" if I use hand commands. And often I have to gently tap her on the head to get her attention on me cause she just doesn't focus on me at all lol
I ended up getting stuck with a cat off the streets because I had to move her from my work sight and didn't know what to do with her. Turns out, she was the best pet I had. She would come when you call her and even learned how to sit from watching the dogs. She was actually smarter than most dogs. Always watching her surrounding and taking note of things. That's probably why I have no interest in having another cat because I can't imagine any other cat being as good as her. I can honestly say that getting the kitchens a home and keeping the mother was one of the best things I ever done.
Thank you for your kind words about Mr. Kizzy. He really appreciates it. Definitely try to teach your cat tricks. Mr. Kizzy is easy to educate (you can train a dog, but you have to educate a cat). To teach Kizzy, show him what we want him to do and when he does it we reward him with attention, praise, and treats. We teach him to respond to voice requests (dogs take commands, cats take requests) by saying the word while he's doing his trick. But your cat has to like doing tricks. Not all do.
Wow amazing!!! I am getting my Bengal kitten tomorrow. also marbled colour like your Kizzy. I am so excited - they seem to be the most amazing breed! So clever! Love to Mr. Kizzy!
Yes cats and dogs are different. They are not the same animal stop trying to compare them. A dog has been domesticated for well over 30,000 years and a cat has only been domesticated for about 8,000 years. Dogs have in some ways helps us as humans evolve as we have had a long and well documented relationship with dogs. Cats were kept as pets and pest control not for hunting so we had no need to train them in the way we train dogs. Dogs were used as hunting animals and thus had to learn quickly which was helped immensely by the fact they were pack animals themselves. Cats are not social creatures. Humans are social creatures and we do things for the cat to please it. A cat will tell us what it wants and we will try to do it the best way we can. Because as humans we strive for social acceptance and aim to please the things we interact with. Cats eat alone and do not share food or hunt large animals for the benifit of others. They do what they have to do to survive on their own. As humans we find this very "selfish" but in reality it is just the nature they evolved with. Nothing selfish about it. Cats strive to self preserve that is all.
If what you are saying is completely true, then why does my cat sit and lie down on command without any treat as a reward? She also follows me around everywhere I go in my house, greets me at the door when I come home and lies by my side on the couch every day. Cats are not social creatures? I beg to differ.
Lady I love you, you're so nice. Obviously your cat has a great deal of respect for you. All cats can learn commands, but usually they don't do anything they don't feel like doing. Good job and love how sweet you are!
I don't have the patience to train my cat. She is too stubborn anyways. I tell her to do something she does the complete opposite of what I tell her it is so frustrating.
+Ash Mckinlay Of course cats are trainable. They need to be trained to use the litterbox. Since cats are smart and like treats and toys, you can train them to do all sorts off things. Hell, I'm teaching one to use a harness and leash and I'm actually making progress now. That being said, cats are pretty independent, don't communicate quite as closely to our way of communicating as dogs do and are therefore not as easy to train as a dog (least that's my guess... I'm not so certain about the communication thing, but having lived with both, I think it's a reasonable guess). Also, there ARE some things that at least some cats will absolutely refuse to learn like leash and harness, but that doesn't mean you can't train them to high five if you're patient and understanding enough.
Dogs tend to have many genetic disorders that can cause you to spend thousands at the vet. Dogs tend to be noisy and require more than just a home to be satisfied. In my personal opinion dogs are not flexible enough to be ideal cuddle buddies. The clicking of nails on hard wood is extremely annoying. A relationship with your dog is an easy one to obtain and requires you to be dominant, which for me is not a relationship I want to have with my animals. Cats live longer lives than dogs.
How fabulous! What a great cat. You have taught him well & is obviously well loved. I love cats but developed an allergy so no more for me. Love bengals!
Thanks for sharing the talents of your smart and pretty kitty :-) My cat will sit, shake, and stand up on his back legs for treats, but I never thought of roll over or round about. He already does "lay" around the house all the time (usually right in the middle of everyone's way) so I'm not sure I'd want to give him treats to encourage more of that! Lol.
Un-bloody-lievable! ...So all this time I'm the one that Kitty was training to give him treats, when it could have been the other way around, lol? Wish I'd seen this years ago. Congratulations. You've done a fantastic thing for cat owners the world over who've been had... up till now. :)
Kizzy is an amazing animal. It's really neat that she responds to your commands. I've read that cats can be trained, but haven't tried it yet. Thanks for sharing!
I figured well, shake and high five very similar... whatever.. BUT then came the lay and roll over which he did very well, I'm impressed! Next time get a HUGE handful of treats LOL :) THanks for posting, nice smart kitty!
I've taught my Bengal to sit, jump up onto surfaces, and jump off on when I ask him to. All in only two weeks. We are starting him on jumping through hoops now. They really are a amazing breed and the training builds a strong bond between you and your bengal.
CUTE and talented tom cat you have ! I wonder if you could teach him how to ring a call bell. I've tried to get my cat to take commands but.....He's spoiled and knows that I'll give in to him whether he shows off or not....lol
Good work!!! I've trained my cat to sit, stay and eat on command, also he comes to me I call him, and if I say "faster" he runs. He jumps onto my shoulder on command and when I say "kiss" he rubs his head against mine. I'm going to train him up with these tricks, they are very impressive, especially the roll over one!
My kitty can do all those tricks but we use different commands! Very cute, I love seeing people taking the time to train their cats. It's so fun and rewarding (and not JUT for the people either!)
I first saw Mr. Kizzy when invited to his house to see him perform his many tricks. I'd never seen cats do tricks, but had already seen this video. Eventually, I decided screw it, and let him in sneaking him up to my room. Its like since that moment, I imprinted on him... He understands that he's my cat, and that I'm his human... The cat is more dog-like, I swear. I recently graduated high school a few weeks ago and throughout the school years, I'd get home, open the front door, and see him sitting there, COMPLETELY straight up, staring up at me like "Hooman. Where did you go? I did not dismiss you.", I'll sit down while he's lying down seemingly asleep, and suddenly he'll be on my lap, He comes when I call him, he responds and acknowledges me, he does things I tell him to, and since I started keeping my door open to air out my room (Second hottest room in the house), he chooses to lie there on my bed with me while I type up stories... As I'm typing this, he's sitting next to me, watching me, and every couple of seconds he'll rub against my shoulder as if saying for me to tell more about us... He was so bone skinny when we met. But now he's so fat, even Garfield would be shocked. And we couldn't be happier! (Also, he's the only cat in the house who willingly keeps his collar on, and more to that, he stays away from EVERYONE else, just me, he'll be with. He waits on the head of the couch, staring at the window whenever I'm not home, awaiting my return.)
You ma'am have the most badass cat ov ever seen! My cat was lost for 2 days I just found her in some thorn bushes in the side of my house. It was worth every thrown in my arm to get her out
I've taught my mixed breed cats to fetch, sit up and beg, heel, dance, roll over, and some other cute things. They have to enjoy the process. I only use treats occasionally.
Wow, I can say from experience it is not easy to teach feline's tricks. Well done! Love the name it suits him. It's obvious he enjoys to do this with you and is very well taken care of :)
I love this! My know "pick up" meaning does he want me to pick him up and he will stand on his hine legs with arms stretched outward like a child. He also knows "come" and the game tag which is pretty awesome because we chase each otehr around the house & when I tag him he turns and chases me.
Hahaha thats what I thought as well!!! She looks like Angela Petrelli..mother to Peter and Nathan haha. Am glad someone else saw it and not my eyes playing tricks on me hehe
that was fan freekin tastic and i thought my cat was smart cus he brings back toys so i can throw it again. but your cat gets the award. great video thanxs
10 years ago I was in Las Vegas and saw an act at Circus Circus which was like a lion tamer, only using house cats. I was amazed and watched the show several times. Now teach Kizzy to speak! I had a cat that would fetch, if he was in the mood.
"Rollover...rolllovverr''
"Ahh come on lady, how about another high five...rolling over is a lot of work!"
I love cats lol.
Same
lol cat's are so reluctant.. It's like they know we're calling them, they definitely have the intelligence to associate commands with actions, they just choose not to obey..Almost as if they're saying "I understand what you're telling me to do, but why the hell should I do it", Great video though..
Some dogs are like that too, but most are more willing to obey cause they want to please. Cats, well they don't give a F.... lol
You did a great job trainings him :) l can see the bond you guys have !!
Yeah Like I have the intelligence to understand quantum physics, I just choose not to ever show it.
Dogs need more affection while cats don’t
MrMarkus1921 Cats are more like humans in the sense that they want to have freedom and free will.
That's crazy normally cats do tricks using motions this cat just goes by command...MIND BLOWN😂
ya my cat only does her "tricks" like "come" and "sit" and "give five" if I use hand commands. And often I have to gently tap her on the head to get her attention on me cause she just doesn't focus on me at all lol
Lol! I love how with "Lay" the cat still has to do the typical cat roundabout before lying down. So cute. XD Fabulous training.
I think darth vader is in the background

That's cat is very smart!!!!
All cats are smart
Ps- I love your channel
What a smart, handsome little guy. and people say cats can't be taught to do things- thanks for helping prove cat ignorant people wrong. :)
That is definitely tricks because you have to encourage the cat to do it and people reward dogs for doing tricks
Same for cats
my cat is smart too.she trained me. .
MEOW! Sorry for makeinf that cheezy joke, get it cuz cheese is made from milk mostly
This is a special cat and two wonderful owners thank you for sharing x
Human: Lay Lay Lay
Cat: Shut up before I hit you in the face and steal the treats
lmaaaaaoo idk why this is so funny
"Roll over. Roll OVER! ROLL OVER!!"
Lady, leave me alone. I'm still eating.
"Yeah I'll do your tricks, but I'm gonna take my sweet time doing them"
No ones mentioned how sweet this lady is though!
Kizzy is a little kitty genius! I LOVE him. Great job training and very enjoyable video! xoxo and, of course, HIGH FIVE to little Kiz!
Aww This is too cute!
Thank you for your kind words about Mr. Kizzy. He really appreciates it. Definitely try to teach your cat tricks. Mr. Kizzy is easy to educate (you can train a dog, but you have to educate a cat). When I was little, my cat once said "find me online." I don't understand at that time.
Thanks to my cat, I'm now addicted to cat videos.
Wow amazing!!! I am getting my Bengal kitten tomorrow. also marbled colour like your Kizzy. I am so excited - they seem to be the most amazing breed! So clever! Love to Mr. Kizzy!
This is the best video I have seen in ages in TH-cam..Well Done to the proud owner of such an intelligent cat...truly amazing !!!

What a great job you done with the cat, he's so smart and adorable to watch...

Unfortunately patience is the only method to training cats lol. No patience, no trained cats. Can't blame the cat :P
I guess lol
Get a Bombay! (The cats that are all black), they are more dog like in manner and love attention.
Jen S Check out how to train cats with clicker training!

i think cats only get trained if they want to
they understand us they just refuse to do it because we are supposed to obey them
Why not just get a dog?
I think because she prefers a pussy....cat.
because dogs are dirty, smelly, and not as cute.
slayveof leeberty dogs are not like that your just a cat over

that is so awesome, and it must have taken a lot of patience and time to train him!
This cat video was my childhood! What a smart kitty :)
Very cool! Cats can be difficult students. I've taught my cat two tricks. Now I'll teach her to "give me five." I hadn't thought of that! Thank you.
omg the roll over is BY FAR the best one!!!! well done!!
This is fantastic! What a smart cat!!
wow tht was great. this is the first cat i've ever seen respond 2 commands. Good training.
Thats great what a smart boy, great job. Take good care of him.

Can you climb Christmas trees?
We would love to hear from you!
Big kisses,

that's is such a clever cat... u're giving rewards(the food) as the motivation to the cat...that's cool! and it's works!
My Bengal is too lazy. This is awesome! Gives me some inspiration to actually try to train him!
Good work!!! I've trained my cat to sit, stay and eat on command, also he comes to me I call him, and if I say "faster" he runs. He jumps onto my shoulder on command and when I say "kiss" he rubs his head against mine.

This is one super funny cat. I love this clip so much.
OMG I love it! My cat can sit, stand up and turn around. They will do anything for their snacks. lol
"Gimmie Five"

He waits on the head of the couch, staring at the window whenever I'm not home, awaiting my return.)
Wow that's amazing!!!! You must of taking alot of your time to train.
The roll over was amazing!!
Lady, you're as cute as your cat. Thanks for posting.
That is simply amazing!!! I never would have thought to train my cat. We have two and they don't do any tricks for their treats.
You ma'am have the most badass cat ov ever seen! My cat was lost for 2 days I just found her in some thorn bushes in the side of my house. It was worth every thrown in my arm to get her out
This is awesomeeeee!!! And the lady was a sweetheart too! :)
Thats a talented cat you have there, Angela Petrelli.
that was AMAZING!!!! I absolutly loved all of the tricks! that is one SMART kitty! : )
that's amazing! getting your cat to roll-over was awesome!!
I've taught my mixed breed cats to fetch, sit up and beg, heel, dance, roll over, and some other cute things. They have to enjoy the process. I only use treats occasionally.
This was good to see as I taught my cat to do four of those tricks also. They are quite smart.
what a smart cat! so adorable
Wow, I can say from experience it is not easy to teach feline's tricks. Well done! Love the name it suits him. It's obvious he enjoys to do this with you and is very well taken care of :)
That was pretty dang smart. I wish cat would do tricks more often
I love this video. My cat can do some of these tricks, but not quite as many! Cats are awesome
Bengal cats are awesome. I have one and we trained him like a dog too, the only downside is he has one heck of a meow!
haha my dog won't do tricks without hand cues! Props for teaching the cat so well!
thats is one amazing cat please do another video so we can see more well done :D xx
Oh my God, you and your cat are brilliant! How can you guys do that. =]
very smart cat. he needs to be in the movies with training like that!
I used to have a cat that would fetch. But this is awesome. What a good kitty.
Wonderful cat. I love him.
I love this! My know "pick up" meaning does he want me to pick him up and he will stand on his hine legs with arms stretched outward like a child. He also knows "come" and the game tag which is pretty awesome because we chase each otehr around the house & when I tag him he turns and chases me.
Great job teaching Mr. Kizzy tricks! It's not easy teaching tricks to cats!
"You da cat!"
hahahahaha :D
That's awesome! You're much more patient than I was with my cat. I couldn't even get her to do any paw tricks. (sigh)
I never seen that before, he is pretty clever. We R impressed!
Hahaha thats what I thought as well!!! She looks like Angela Petrelli..mother to Peter and Nathan haha. Am glad someone else saw it and not my eyes playing tricks on me hehe
unbelieveable! This trainer is a genius!
