He is a soloist,and amazing songwriter, he usually produce his own album but for this one he worked with western producer, if you want to know his own sound you should listen his past album. I should say he is unique and dope, his music is different with other kpop, i recommend you to listen to B.I Waterfall and Keep the fire alive, thanks

It's not THEM... He is B.I. he works so hard!!! Amazing performer..... Amazing artist. Love his lyrics and memorable hooks. His voice is super authentic
Hanbin actually was traumatized by the trainee system. As a teenager, he was the leader of a budding group. He built iKon. Without him, that group would not have been able to debut and succeed in the short amount of time that it did. As a solo artist he is now doing what he wants to do. It really takes enormous resilience to succeed in the kpop system. It's not so much artistic training as it is technique training in kpop. What he is doing as a solo act is very different from what the kpop system churns out. He is experimenting and learning and trying new things with full creative freedom. Like you said, the choreo in BTBT and Keep Me Up is nothing like what you see in a typical kpop song. If you listen to Nineteen and Cosmos, these songs are also very different from the typical kpop.

hanbin is a self produced artist, he started his career year 2009 and then debuted with his former group 2015 as leader after he left the group he debuted as a soloist 2021. he is a founder/owner of his own label called 131, record producer, rapper, singer-songwriter, executive producer, philanthropist and dancer. he has written and produced alot of songs since he was a kid and written not only for himself but for other artist aswell. even won youngest songwriter and only male to win songwriter of the year also won producer of the year and song of the year. that’s our protagonist.

I completely understand what you mean by any type of music school being extremely expensive, I go to school for a bachelor's in music production and my overall tuition is almost $70,000, it's insane how expensive it is. Also, you were mentioning about there not being like a trainee system here in America, like they do over there in South Korea, that's exactly why I started school to begin with. I eventually want to get to a point where I can start a company that implements that system here, I think it would be great for the music industry and for people who have difficulties finding their place in the industry.
