Pleaseeeeeeee saying New Jeans were mistreated because the leader of the whole company didn’t say hi in the elevator is just plain ridiculous.They have a plush dorm where each of them gets their own room while other rookies start off sharing rooms. The Enhypen boys won lots of awards their rookie year and they all slept in bunks in one big room. Later they had roommates. They didn’t complain because they were too busy training, performing and honing their craft. Other groups in the sub labels reach out to form relationships and offer advice. That’s what BTS, TXT, and Seventeen did. They didn’t start fan wars. They don’t think they are too good to mix with other artists. These little girls need to grow up. This is the music business, repeat business. They may be talented but any group is only as good as their next creative work. Instead of always crying about how others are stealing from them and not respecting them, they could look at how to improve themselves. They could use the time to work on their music, skills and be more creative. They could form new relationships with other artists who could help them grow as people and artists.

Even the courts will side with Attrakt, a relatively small company against the 50 50 gg and their producer from the Givers, as long as mistreatment cannot be proven. Not likely that the courts will go against HYBE, a much larger company with possibly thousands of employment on the line, contributing a huge tax base for the economy.

Hybe is no longer just a Korean company but they are a global company. So this scandal will not only affects the Korean Branch of Business but it also affects their other Branches and 3rd party Partnerships around the world. Hybe has Compliance and Legal regulations they are required to follow. The other Big 3 are not run the same. She may have gotten away with this in one of those 3 but not Hybe.
This was the reason why Hybe was controlling the posts in social media.... If they let the situation run loose...there's a possibility international companies that hybe acquired to get affected especially reputation of the company as a whole.

The girls of NJ don't fully understand what is going on neither do their parents. They are only going by what MHJ is telling them. To them, MHJ is their friend, mentor, boss, and sometimes mother figure. She has been the driving force behind their success. They have each profited with millions of dollars in their first year of debut and they live in a luxury apartment. They don’t know what it is like to struggle to get to the point they are today. It's striking how Min Hee-jin does seem to have many gaps in her story. Why is she being shifty about the company audit (which is HYBE's right to conduct)? If she has nothing to hide, then what's with all the layered stunts? And on it goes. If she simply wanted to get out of a contract, it's her right to negotiate, without such overt passive-aggressive unprofessional, petty behavior.
Min Hee-jin's questionable behavior does look like it goes deep, and that she's been carrying on this way for some time. Kicking her show off with that orchestrated, attention-grabbing, dramatic press conference of hers was shady af. That's the sort of stunt people who are about to be fired or dragged through a lawsuit do in order to gain support out of desperation (often, when trying to divert from guilt), rather than saving it for a courtroom argument, when all the receipts/evidence can be properly presented and assessed, and both sides tell their stories, while a judge presides.
Sadly, when it comes to Min Hee-jin's schemes (which do appear obvi), even as she touts New Jeans as if they're her babies, it more so looks like Min Hee-jin is over-playing her hand while she drags NJ into the middle, at the expense of the young artists. How is any of this to the benefit of NJ.
Right now.. she is loosing her "damage control" leash over this case 😂😂😂.
NJ's, feeling you were ignored by Bang P.D. and not being Hybe's, first released girl group is now the least of your problems because now you're being placed on a shelf.

There's going on hiatus (because you're fulfilling your civic duty as an able-bodied man) and there's going on "hiatus" like Western boybands (looking at you 1D) or bc your agency just doesn't want to promote you anymore in SK (Cf. Blackpink). If NJ ends up going on "hiatus" by the time they could have a comeback they may be irrelevant, because Le Sserafim and illit will have had time to build their reputation in the gg sector. BTS may also very well be ready for their comeback. When you look at the time and effort BTS put in to get where they are, the sheer amount of awards including daesang they've raked in, the records they continue to break even while on hiatus, plus their sales numbers over the years -- and they still got used by the Grammys as ratings fodder... I don't see the cultural relevance of NJ.
Edit: want to ask the parents (assuming they're working corporate jobs) "What happens if you ever run into the CEO of your company? Who greets who? Who acknowledges who? Who can you expect to be upset about not receiving an insa?" And that doesn't even take into account that ADOR is a sublabel. That's the equivalent of working at a subsidiary managed by the nepo baby cousin of the chaebol family, isn't it? Both the NJ members and their parents sound either brainwashed or delulu at this point in time.

It sounds like NJ is going to be put on the back burner after all of this goes down. And there is no way Min still has a job with Hybe after this.
Seems like Hybe wants to get rid off the SM coded business from ADOR set up by Min Hee-jin. They want to turn NewJeans into a Hybe coded group instead of SM group. Which means Bang PD will produce their albums and they will use music producers within Hybe labels and not SM related partners like 250 and Jin-su Park from Bad & Native Records.
NewJeans' sound will also change for that matter.

Okay, so the "sampling" song is Shakatak's Easier Said Than Done, as the tone/color of the music is virtually identical to NJ Bubblegum!!!! Close your eyes, listen to the sound --- I couldn't tell the difference. The thing is "sampling" is legal IF you contracted with the former artist(s) to "sample" parts of their song for a different song! Apparently, Shakatak knew nothing about this possible "sampling" until alerted by one of their fans and posted a carefully written vague one sentence reply - thanks, we'll look into this!!!!! Yikes!!!!! Yikes!!!!! Shakatak was never contacted for "sampling" rights by MHJ and Ador!!!! Hybe needs to let MHJ and Ador fight this battle out with Ador monies!!!! Just saying.

MHJ started all this drama for very selfish reasons so it's just right that it ends for her and that HYBE release her, what with all the very solid evidence they have against her. i've heard stories about the mothers of New Jeans trying to figure themselves in to this whole legal mess, saying they still want MHJ to handle New Jeans, which, i'm sorry to say, for me, isn't gonna happen, at least within the four great walls of HYBE. the fact that MHJ tried to betray the very company who took her under their wing and offered her many chances and opportunities, thereby affecting one of Korea's biggest earners says a lot about the kind of person MHJ is. i feel bad for the New Jeans members who will get affected by all this, but it is what it is, really. given their talent as a group, though, they will rise from the ashes. but their popularity does lie on whatever they decide on. whether they accept to work with another CEO that their parent company HYBE chooses for them or leave HYBE and go with a traitor like MHJ who can very well turn against these girls as well is really up to them. the mere fact, though, that they are with a big company like HYBE that houses other big artists who trust them makes all the difference. just saying.

I read in an article today that NJ will send a letter to the court expressing support for MHJ. This won't help her in any way. I bet the letter has been drafted by MHJ or her lawyers. I am appalled at how she continuously using the girls to defend her. To me, that's a vile act of cowardice.
I find it strange and even funny that there are people who argue that MHJ has rights over the group because his talent led the group to success... They all lose sight of the fact that this talent is precisely what Hybe acquired when she signed the contract with the company. . From what I can tell the girls are talented, and deserved to debut, but the only person making NewJeans collateral damage, is MHJ. She's obviously taking advantage of them and their parents, telling them things that are wrong and purposely causing issues. She's supposed to be there to help them navigate all the crap the music industry is filled with, encourage, advocate for them, be a mediator, help them move forward, make everything run for them like a fine tuned machine so the girls have nothing to worry about other than singing and performing, and not drag them through the mud in an attempt to garner sympathy. The more I hear from the parents, the more I realize what she says and what they say, are more often than not, not the same. (For example, MHJ said Bang PD "blatantly ignored the girls multiple times" and the parent interviewed about it said it only happened once.) I used to do her job (different company, obviously) and her way of doing things is disgusting and a total disgrace, even without all the emotional and news manipulation and whatever other kind of manipulation she's pulling. Those girls will be known for this for the rest of their lives, whereas she can disappear for a year and come back with a new company and a new group. It's happened before with the most horrible, and will again. And I find her claim of Stockholm Syndrome an insult to anyone who has ever been in a real situation of abuse.
