Your tips on how to transfer print onto the projects you do is awesome :) Now I know how I can do the same :) Lovely ideas and I think you did a great job of showing that anyone can do these even with out the fancy tools :)
I would glue the sticks to the flowers first and then hot glue the fabric to the back that would cove up the stack and keep the flowers together if you see the back. I love what you do
All three of these projects are adorable and easy to follow directions. I agree I like the paper on the back of your project to make it look neater. That is something I'm going to have to start doing . For the center of your burlap flowers, I personally would have just picked up a little bit of dark brown burlap available in fabric stores like Jo-Ann's Fabric and Crafts. I find watering down a little craft paint and brushing it on an easier way to paint fabric. I think those flowers turned out so cute.
Soooo adorable. I appreciate that you use Dollar Tree and other inexpensive materials. I enjoy DIY projects, but like to keep them as inexpensive as possible. These projects are totally doable and super cute.
I sure would've mixed. If it wasn't for those of us that move to our own beat there wouldn't new things or new ways discovered! Just follow your own beat! I love them all!!!!!
I would use your cricut to cut vinyl letters for the pumpkin patch words. It is MUCH easier than going over this twice in chalk. Or, get letter stickers from the dollar tree.
I would have done them separate. They’re both pretty. The sunflowers would have been cuter with moss or excelsior at the base. Keep up the diys. They’re awesome.
Katelyn, you are so very talented. I personally want to stop seeing so many TH-camrs limiting themselves to DT projects. There's so much more that can be done! With that being said, I'd love to see you do a series on projects to create with your Cricut. I purchased one earlier this year but have only made about 3 projects so far and am constantly looking for inspiration.
I would love if you would put a list of everything used so I could purchase it and then rewatch the video to make the projects!! These are some of the best diys I’ve seen!!
Really love all your projects because you always add your personal touches! And provide clear steps to crate them. Love love your flowers and arrangement on the way you did it! 🌻
Super cute! I love the frame and I love its imperfections! What a great project for a couple of bucks. The first one is so simple yet a neat addition to the space. I also love the sunflowers and I think they are really cute in the arrangement! Super job!!! Thanks for sharing!!!
I’m so glad you covered the back of that picture. I have almost completely stopped watching Dollar Tree videos because I sell all my stuff and I can’t sell something unfinished. Also my Type A personality will just not allow it. Did you know that on the backs of frames to get a professional framing look that you can cut out brown paper bag and glue it around the edge of your frame. Let it hang over the sides. You then take a sponge and wet the back of the paper fairly well and take your hair dryer to dry. The paper shrinks as it dries and makes it tight as a drum on the back of your picture. Then you just take sandpaper and sand the edges to have a perfectly straight edge on the four sides of your frame. I hope this makes sense and is a good tip for you.
I made the harvest sign today. It definitely does not stick with hot glue. I used a little nail on the corners of the word then painted the nails to make them blend.
New subscriber ! I love your channel ... my home is really rustic country cabin/ lodge themed mixed with a litttle vintage shabby chic here an there an I love love love your little projects. It’s inspired me to craft and make so many things !! I’m always turning nothing into something and it’s so amazing to get new and fresh ideas from someone amazing like you!! Thanks so much. Happy fall !!!!
Sara Jane, absolutely fantastic. I don't know how you think of all these creative projects, but I am certainly glad that you do. Thank you, so much.🧡😊😁👏🏻
You did amazing work on all of these diys! I love the Harvest Pumpkin at the beginning the most. I definitely liked your burlap sunflowers mixed with your florals to make up that bouquet. TFS!
So I decided to experiment with burlap and cut a small piece and dipped it in water. Then thinned down some Truffle paint and totally saturated the burlap with it, blotted it with a paper towel and let it dry. This filled in all the little spaces in the burlap and looked pretty good. I'm going to give it another coat of Truffle but it looks good now.
Super CUTE pumpkin sign Katelyn!!! Love the tin bucket painted and the sunflowers you made are ADORABLE 🤗 The chalkboard is really cool...something I haven’t made yet but definitely want to!!! Thank you for sharing Katelyn..you have inspired me🤗🤗🤗🤗 Have a safe holiday weekend 😘cat x
When painting burlap, you may want to paint a base layer of Mod Podge or thinned down Tacky Glue to seal the fabric and then paint over it. Love your videos and projects.
You all probably dont care but does anyone know of a method to get back into an Instagram account?? I stupidly forgot my account password. I appreciate any tricks you can offer me.
@James Allen i really appreciate your reply. I found the site on google and Im in the hacking process atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later with my results.
I love the first sign you made - YOU should be a designer for Dollar Tree - the stuff would FLY off the shelves! I also like the 3rd piece you made with the pumpkin banner and think a chalk marker would work really well.
Not a fan of the burlap sunflowers but I love the rest of your flower pot arrangement. I think you are very creative and you have given me a ton of inspiration for Fall. Thanks! Nice painting also. :)
Thank you so much for these sweet and inexpensive and totally doable fall craft ideas! To answer your question, I think it is a matter of personal preference. I can see your "gather" bucket either way, and it is lovely. But, for whatever it is worth, my landscape architect husband always tells me to use odd numbers in design unless I am looking for symmetry. :)
Katelyn!!!you outdid yourself on all of these!!! LOVE ❤️ them all. I so look forward to each and everyone of your videos. What a talented lady you are. My favorite today is the pumpkin harvest pumpkin sign. I’m sure all the school teachers 👩🏫 hope that they get all your beautiful crafts for their classrooms 😉
Loved all of these ideas!! So beautiful and they all look like something that was purchased from Hobby Lobby. You are one of my favorites to watch on TH-cam 😊. Have a wonderful weekend and enjoy your holiday 😊
I just recently found your channel and I’m obsessed! It makes me want to do crafts and I’m the least crafty person I know! Lol My favorite is the harvest sign it looks so good!! Also, I call it twine 😉
Very creative and pretty decorative projects! I really like the harvest sign. Enjoy watching your videos. 😀 oh, i saw those jumbo popsicle sticks at Walmart last week and thought of you. Lol
honestly... i'd love for the regular craft stores to have half of these bits here in the UK let alone poundland (aka our dollartree)!! forever jealous of all your options 😍😍😍
@@KraftsbyKatelyn we have little "charity shops", kind of around the same size as local coffee shops etc, but, nothing really in comparison to your thrift stores! 🤣
I LOVE these!! Actually working at DT now because I was shopping so often, I decided to work there. Lol. Anyway, several of my customers also watch your videos and adore all of your crafts. So you have a lot of Tennessee fans! 😁😁
Aww that is so sweet of you to reach out and let me know!! I live next door in KY! Lol thank you so much! I need a part time job at the dollar tree as much as I'm there! My cashiers at my store always say "What are you making now?" Lol 🤣
I would’ve kept the back of the harvest pumpkin sign so you could switch it around for Halloween. Double the use! But definitely will be making some of these diys
I loved everyone of these today. I also enjoy your choices in music for your videos.
Thank you!
I love them all!!! Thanks Katelyn for never failing to give me inspiration. I know what I'll be making all weekend.
Yay!! ❤️

I'm always amazed by the stuff people can find in their Dollar Tree, mine hardly ever has anything cool. These came out so pretty!
Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️
I agree my dollar tree is pretty lame too
Exactly mine never has anything , I don't even shop there anymore ! So sad...😡
@@evem4876iam with you girls my local store is always emply of the importance items need to make some of these items
I call it twine! I loved them all but the unique way you made the sunflowers and then paired them with other florals pulled it to the number on spot
The sunflower bouquet is perfect. It looks better with the orange.
Your Pumpkin sign turned out really cute.
Thank you!

My fav. is the white pot that says, "gather." Very beautiful!
I love how original your ideas are!! There are so many fall decor videos going around and yours are my favorite! Thanks for coming up with new ideas!!

The way you beefed up that cheap frame was impressive!!! Thank you for sharing!
I like the gather pot ensemble the best. It pairs nicely with the little harvest houses.
I would use your cricut to cut vinyl letters for the pumpkin patch words. It is MUCH easier than going over this twice in chalk. Or, get letter stickers from the dollar tree.
I love the DIY flowers and how they look together with the store bought ones.
Love your Sunflower bucket ,the others are awesome as well . Great creative ideas you have . Tfs !
I would have done them separate.
They’re both pretty.
The sunflowers would have been cuter with moss or excelsior at the base.
Keep up the diys. They’re awesome.
when painting burlap, i think the best thing to do is to use fabric paint, it just helps really well
Love the "Gather" pot. Just adorable. 🍁
Thank u 😊

i really love the potted sunflowers project!
All of them are super cute. I think the harvest sign is my favorite.
Put gesso on the burlap first. It dries pretty quickly and the paint will sit nicely on the gesso.
I would love if you would put a list of everything used so I could purchase it and then rewatch the video to make the projects!! These are some of the best diys I’ve seen!!
I love them all.......I just am in awe of all the ideas that you can come up with.
In NC. We call it just twine.
Really love all your projects because you always add your personal touches! And provide clear steps to crate them. Love love your flowers and arrangement on the way you did it! 🌻
Thank you! 🤗🤗🤗
Your talent blows my mind. I see the same stuff in Dollar Tree that you see, but you see it totally different than I do!
Love the idea of bulking up the frame with popsicle sticks!
I also have a circuit but dont like taking it out and all that.... love the way you rub and trace... its low tech and everyone can do it.

You use like an Aileen’s type glue, not hot glue by the way.
I made the harvest sign today. It definitely does not stick with hot glue. I used a little nail on the corners of the word then painted the nails to make them blend.
The gather bucket is so cute. I have been fascinated with the stencil idea you have shared in so many tutorials.
Thank you so much! Yes, it's a very simple way to get beautiful writing! ❤️
Everything is great! Love the tin bucket floral craft. Pumpkin Harvest craft is nice too.

luv all the fall décor my favorite season
Fabric dye for burlap works awesome
Kaitlyn you are very talented, I so enjoy watching you create. You are a true crafter.
You could glue the rod between the flower and the backing to hide it :)

So Beautiful ❣ Love the sunflowers
I like the flowers without the sunflowers you made. I think the sunflowers would be cute on any of the signs you make they are cute.
Great idea!! ♥️
These turned out so cute! I absolutely love that harvest sign. I call it twine. 😊
Oh my goodness they all turned out beautiful! Love them!
I'm like you girl I like Brown and ALL FALL colors most😊

Yes, I made 3 sunflowers but it looked very crowded. In a larger planter I think 3 would look best! ❤️❤️❤️
Im becoming more and more inspired by your talent and presentation!!!
You are so creative. Thanks for sharing your ideas.
Love all these! When I paint burlap, I put a layer of mod podge on it first, let it dry, then paint it.
I love the diy chalkboard idea, I will be making a few of these for my upcoming fall wedding!
Perfect!! Congrats! ♥️♥️♥️
Love your Harvest sign. It looks very high end!!
I love watching your videos and I LOVE the way you say "jute string" no matter what anyone else calls it. TFS!

Those burlap sun flowers are cute. I've never seen those made before

So cool to know I am not the only one lol I have to buy some Juno pop cycle sticks and paint and brushes.
Katelyn can’t choose y favorite. Loved them all. You are very talented😁

Thanks TONS for showing how to do it without power tools. I want to learn how to use them but I’m not there yet. Good job on the Harvest sign!
