The issue at SJP is the Boys in Blue won't allow away fans pitch side due to security issues leaving the stadium. Tbh it's the attempt at segregation after games that creates a "them and us" mentality which otherwise wouldn't exist. The bad old days ending a generation ago in Newcastle. The entire city centre and stadium is covered by CCTV. All decent away fans are free and welcome to mingle and chat with us in the bars and streets. We pride ourselves on that. Tbh the atmosphere at SJP was better still when away fans were low down in the NE corner but it only holds 1800.
Best of luck for next season lads. Bournemouth is one of English football's best ever good news stories. A bit like Wimbledon were in the 80's. Looking forward to welcoming Luton fans to SJP next season. They had a right p1ss up with us when they played up here in the FA Cup 4 years ago.

WOW WOW WOW, Aston Villa can't complain? You are the only two on the planet that puts us as average. Its one of THE best away days in English football. I'm not going to explain why. It's all out there.
From a Newcastle fan. We have no “safe” space to put them according to the prem. where they would be happy with the amount steward and home fans being able to throw things at fans. So we have a pass to not need to put away fans at pitch side
Great content chaps. Regarding the away fans at St James' Park, I think Newcastle have special dispensation from the Premier League to put away fans in an area that would otherwise be against the competition rules. Something to do with security I think.
Hopefully spurs can be in better nick and our atmosphere improves, no reason why we can’t get top spot next year

I think Villas atmosphere, Bournemouth were in the first part of our unbeaten home run at the end of the season, where a lot of us were still nervous about how we played out from the back so the atmosphere was awful.
Hopefully next season (depending on what happens and how we are haha), you get a good VP atmosphere

Suprised Fulham ranked so highly, me and my mates went this season, and we thought it was dreadful. Too expensive, uncomfortable, ridiculous queues and worst of all one of the worst atmospheres I've ever witnessed. I went 10 years ago too and it was no better. At least a few pints in Hammersmith was good though

Spurs fan here, remember you saying you parked at Enfield and went to the beehive, I would suggest parking at bush hill park and getting a train, much easier and free / more choice imo

How is liverpool so high up there, that is where you lost 9-0
Nothing to do with the football match. Solely the away experience.
Newcastle away is always down there with Wolves and West Ham for how poor it is for away fans on the day for me, this season included just because they're happier with the owners - getting to it, parking, the 100 flights of stairs, being so far away from the pitch & by the time you get to the bottom of the stairs after the game there's 100's of them lining the away exits chanting at women and children, or waiting for fights. It's absolutely terrible
But that wasn't their experience.
Home fans sit in level 7 as well but no whining from them .
If you don't like SJP don't come.
@@teamboy19 I'm clearly telling them my experience over the years with reasons why I think it, not questioning theirs. Not going to support my own team because the place is an awful experience isn't really my kind of thing but fair play if it's yours, Rob. Each to their own 👍
