Honda refers to the assembly as a brake panel, the plate would be just one part of that assembly. I've been a certified Honda tech for 38 years and they always called it that.
The kit will work on 92 model 300s and it won't hurt a thing running the same diameter tires front and rear on a full time 4wd 300 unless all of your riding is on pavement in which case don't...
I would refer you to check out Super ATV's website for the kit for your machine. As far as tires, the front ones are 1" shorter than the rear. For instance, the original front tires on a TRX300FW were 23x8-11, rears were 24x9-11. You can go with pretty much any overall size that your fender clearance will allow, just go 1" shorter on the front.
Love D-Ray’s videos! Another good one!
Thanks!
Gonna anoint that brand new floor paint with some good 'ole Honda dirt. Atta boy!
That 3rd gen 300 is looking good sitting back there..
Last year TRX300, it's getting brake work also.
Shouldn't it be called a brake backing plate instead of a panel? I had my ASE parts certification for 25 years and never heard it called that.
