Dude, one thing that's helped me tremendously with some of my social anxiety is this: nobody REALLY cares. You think they care because you care, but most people are so wrapped up in their own mistakes and lives that they forget you exist almost immediately after you leave. I think school taught up that everyone is always watching us, but the real world is too big for that to be the case. Do and say whatever you want, and most likely, even if you embarrass yourself, no one will remember it happened.

I'm high functioning autistic (asperger Syndrome), I wasn't born with the ability to understand empathy or social cues so I had to learn them myself where most people just kinda develop these skills naturally. Believe it or not, I've always been a bit of a ladies man. I can be awkward sometimes and trip in my conversations but that never seems to deter women. Here are my top four tips for any guy. 1. Don't take it seriously. Even if you slip up or make things awkward, a ton of women find that endearing anyway. You don't have to be an ultra chad seductive mastermind to charm someone. Believe it or not, messing up something or being awkward isn't as important as the rebound. It's okay to slip up as long as you catch your fall, so to speak 2. This one sounds weird but people are like robots. Me being autistic and having to "learn" social interaction showed me that people aren't as complicated as one might think (at least surface level). This is best shown with simple input=output actions. Hold open a door for a girl=gentleman points. Say something stupid at a bad time=slight awkwardness that you can either clean up or ignore (imo it's best not to linger on it and just laugh it off). This also kinda ties into number 3 3. There are things to remember that women ALWAYS appreciate. Examples being:treat them like they're important (but don't go overboard), be a gentleman, behave like you enjoy their company (when they talk about something you don't care about, just be interested, ask questions, ask what they like), having things in common, etc etc. Finding these universal "good boy" actions are important. 4. Everyone's different. Some chicks are into different kinds of dudes. Some people aren't compatible. Not every girl you like will like you back. And sometimes, even if they do, the relationship wouldn't work anyway. At the end of the day, you have to find that one particular person that you just connect with. The tips I gave you help to get closer to them but whether or not a relationship or "picking up the chick" happens really depends on your and her compatibility. This happened to me so many times in my 20s (and in my early 30s!), approach anxiety really sucks! Then as soon as I have the courage to go up and talk to them, they suddenly lose interest and I'm like "WTF just happened??" I've learned to use situational and environmental awareness when speaking with women now. But at the core of it, you just have to go for it before your mind goes into fear sets in!
Like you said, it's amazing advice tbh, in pretty much every area of your life it's a good mind set to get into. You've basically nothing to lose and the world to gain, even when things don't work out the way you would have liked them to, you will still feel good about at least taking the chance. Same situation happened to me about 3 or 4 months ago. I saw this girl in class and we made eye contact, she gave me obvious signs that she was into me. I think she even walked out of class the same time I did so I would talk to her. Later on I found out I had another class with her and we locked eye contact for a few seconds. That was a dead giveaway to talk to her. If I had the knowledge that I have now I would've spoken to her the first time. I did eventually talk to her (weeks later), asked for her snap and she thought it was weird. She said she'd msg me and never has, and that's okay.
I had a similar experience back in college. I had this one chick keep eyeing me and she would come and sit in close proximity to me during lunch breaks while initiating eye contact. It took me sometime to realise that this chick might be into me so one day during lunch break I just went up to her and introduced myself and pulled out a seat lol .. It seems like a double standard, but it isn’t. Girls can get a guy anytime they want. But that doesn’t mean they find men of quality. Approaching show that you at least have some sort of edge. At least you are better than every other guy who doesn’t approach

I've tried to explain to my friends how I approach girls but couldn't put it into words but this is a PERFECT explanation.
Same situation happened to me about 3 or 4 months ago. I saw this girl in class and we made eye contact, she gave me obvious signs that she was into me. I think she even walked out of class the same time I did so I would talk to her. Later on I found out I had another class with her and we locked eye contact for a few seconds. That was a dead giveaway to talk to her. If I had the knowledge that I have now I would've spoken to her the first time. I did eventually talk to her (weeks later), asked for her snap and she thought it was weird. She said she'd msg me and never has, and that's okay.
I had a similar experience back in college. I had this one chick keep eyeing me and she would come and sit in close proximity to me during lunch breaks while initiating eye contact. It took me sometime to realise that this chick might be into me so one day during lunch break I just went up to her and introduced myself and pulled out a seat lol .. I remember my heart was pounding like crazy, we then ended up talking for the remainder of the break and ended up exchanging numbers. I would be lying if I said I didn't feel invisible after that like I could talk to any chick with all that adrenalin lol. But ye, now I don't think twice before going to talk to a girl I find attractive.

It's certainly not easy to overcome, because you are expected to make a first move, but by doing that you also reveal yourself (reveal your cards so to speak) to other person and it puts her in position of advantage. She can accept, refuse, say "maybe", just laugh in your face, say "f*ck off" etc. It's not a nice spot, but hey if her response is bad or even vulgar, be grateful, you dodged a huge bullet. The worse could happen was she leading you on with no real intention, essentially wasting your time, these are the worst.

What helps me is acting as if I already knew her and already smashed her. I don't know why, but when I put the mindset of "I already smashed this girl, I don't need to be nervous" I just ain't nervous.
Few months back I joined a new gym, there was this cute girl that caught my eyes, I badly wanted to talk to her but couldn't .I was busy for same days so couldn't go to the gym so i decided to follow her on IG she followed back with in 15 minutes, she even replied to my IG stories.I thought this could be a perfect ice breaker and when I go to the gym next day I'll talk to her ,but my bad i couldn't gather the courage to just say a hi to her.
Yesterday I saw her with her boyfriend in a nearby cafe she was looking damn beautiful but My wife and childrens were also with me so i still couldn't do anything💀

This is definitely what happened at the gym to me :/. A girl smiled at me, she was my friend’s friend but nonetheless, I haven’t said anything. Now I’m afraid it’s too late. I’ll introduce myself next time my friend talks to her just cause though.
the cold shower analogy is perfect and in someways go hand n hand . you take a man with a purpose, and u and that, nofap ,ect and i mean u almost naturally form a bullet proof state. Overall, cold showers are known to have several health properties but all and all i believe its a great way to raise your vibrations as well as make yourself indestructible

I'm not nervous around all girls but I'm nervous around this one girl at my job. When she's not there I'm able to talk, joke around, dance, sing around people without caring but when she's around I still act like myself SLIGHTLY but I'm less loud and often feel like I'm being filtered like I'm not acting as humorous and confident as I normally am when she's not there. Also when I'm around her I'm also very nervous to the point where I'm almost shaking. Also I notice when I'm around her when I try to joke with my friends my jokes come out more awkward and weird almost like there's something missing. And also before somebody says "you should talk to her" she has a BOYFRIEND she lives with so I don't know what to do man... FUCK.
