As per embassy, DFA requires report of marriage certificate to renew passport for new surname, which takes months before the ROM cert from NSO becomes available. Is it okay to use husband’s surname for family immigration application but with maiden surname on passport (since not yet renewed with new surname). Thanks in advance!

If I get approved and postpone my travel, will my visit visa expires? Say, my visa was approved last year 2020 and I will be travelling on 2022.
there is a visa validity... if it expire you will need to apply for a new one even you haven't use your approve visa yet.
