  • On today's episode, we fix everything wrong with our 1970 Plymouth Roadrunner project by reinstalling the factory intake manifold and a set of 340 carburetors. As always seems to be the case with this car, we were short on time, so I didn't have a chance to go into technical details on the particulars of this setup, or do anything else on the car... like brakes... There's always next time. ‪@rocketresto‬

A happy day to see your car reunited with its 6 Bbl induction system, so many old cars were switched to 4 barrels once the original systems got old cranky.

Love all years of the Road Runner. For a short time owned a 69 Coronet R/T. 440 auto. Other than a Holley double pumper and Hooker headers it was stock, including points ignition. Back in the early 90's I would blow through a full tank of gas in under an hour. Always regretted selling it back to my brother.

Very unusual car, TX9 black, black vinyl top, burnt orange interior, 6 barrel, 4.10 gears, hood pins, and a bunch of other go-fast stuff. Hope he does something about those '70s-riffic butched rear wheel wells.

Entertaining... and I learned something today too. I did not know the rods and balancer were different on the 3 carb engines (was that a safe way to word it) lol. Thanks for all this...all of it. P.S. I do live your 68 charger possibly more than you do even. I love B bodies.

Your Roadrunner looks almost exactly as my 70 GTX. Minus the wheels and flames. Mine has a b of ack vinyl top. I just finished the engine rebuild and I rebuilt all three Holly carbs. Mine has aluminum heads and 484 cam. 7 qt. pan and Melling high volume pump. I also put a Hemi fuel pump on it. It fires right up and I also took the headers off and put the stock manifolds on it. No mufflers. Neighbors love it. I think? Thanks for the video. I think I will go start it up right now and let the neighbors enjoy that symphony of music as it fills the air😛
