Thank you Dorian, We fell in love with this clock and had it shipped. We waited for about a month to receive it but it was definitely worth it. I will be trying to post more clocks as I get use to doing these videos.
Hi there. I am intrigued. I have a family Morbier Comtoise clock for sale on a certain well known auction site but it does not have a wooden case and does not have a rectangular face like yours. It has had a modern eye loop screwed into the top of it to enable wall hanging. How were these clocks set up (on a ledge or with brackets originally?) if they weren't put into long cases? To me they look odd in the wooden cases, so I think they should not have one, myself. Our clock does not have a repeat feature it appears and has a thin string on the bell side with a brass bead at the end. I would love to know more about it before it sells and how to set up the chimes. Any info would be gratefully received. Nice video by the way. Maybe, I should upload one of ours
Great looking and sounding clock. I have one but am not sure how to hang it. Should I use two brackets or a one piece frame. Is the one you have the one from Timesavers? If so do you recommend/like it? If not from Timesavers where did you get yours or did you make it? Thanks
Hi Tom, The metal bracket that is holding my clock isn’t original. I found this on line a couple of years ago. I believe I googled Heavy duty metal shelve brackets and this is the one that popped up. It has four holes in it so you can screw it to the studs for strength. I hope this helps and if possible please send some pictures of your clock. I would love to see it.
If possible try sending to my email workshopboy@msn.com. PLEASE don’t give my email out to others. 👍 I just don’t want any troubles from scammers. Lol 😂
Wow! That is beautiful, so ornate. I really love it, the ticking is music to my ears. I’d love to see more of the clocks.
