My two girls, who have been part of the family since late August, have Timothy hay blend and love it. We ordered the same in our second order with the addition of botanical blend forage for them to try out. I believe you get a discount if the link is used so I hope you can get something nice for the girls and Pedro especially Lyra who’s been a brave girl even though she’s poorly. Your channel has been a big help especially the fact that my girls have selective naturals grain free food because of your great recommendation.
I ordered the sample pack first and they liked the soft, coarse and then tthen obs the blended. I decided to buy them seperate so then I could do different things with them or alternate etc. So I got a box of coarse and soft. Mine didn't like the meadow. So ill keep buying my usual meadow for the bed area as its cheaper. But theyvare eating way more hay now they have the haybox. If unsure its worth the postage to get the free samples

Funnily enough, I almost bought mine that veggie washing line a few weeks ago- it looks great 👍 and good to see it in action- as you say a fab idea and so simple!! I have an Alocasia in the kitchen which I’ve had for years! They’re beautiful plants 🪴 The fleece forage mats are very cute and Pedro clearly approves of them! Hi, my guinea pig has a cut on his lip and nose area. I'm not quite sure how he got it. it doesn't look like a really bad cut but I don't know what to do? should I leave it be or should I do something more?

Awh thank you so much! Using flat "low pile" fleece helps and weirdly an older sweeping brush catches on the fleece less. I guess I sort of flatten it with my hands as I go too, there's some sort of technique in there to sweeping up poop 😂

I've contacted them and they've gotten back to me but I wondered has this happened to anyone else before? I'm reluctant to use them again in case it happens again but at the same time their service is 5 star and so are their products.
Lyra does have quite a bit of hair loss at the moment, due to ovarian cysts, exactly the same thing Willow lived for years and something that is extremely common in female guinea pigs. Unfortunately Lyra is too old (6.5 years) to operate on so we are monitoring her weight and appetite closely to make sure she is happy and healthy and enjoying life 😊
Hey I only have a question. I have two pregnant females wich I got from the pet shop (wich i probably shouldnt have :/) but I dont want to have to deal with babies nor the pregnancy is there maybe an easy way to not do it without giving the piggies away or must I keep them but sell the babies, we dont have any money for a vet so I need help to know what to do :|
I would look for some rescues around you who take guinea pigs and tell them your story and they might take the pig and keep them until they have there babies and then when the babies are old enough they’ll find them good home and give the mom pigs back to you I don’t know if they will but some rescue will understand and will give the girls back once there some feeding there babies
Yes, the timothy hay is loved by the piggies and Haybox is cheaper compared to other brands selling timothy hay. A box will last us a good few months with a handful or so everyday alongside their other hay :)
