My mom and I listened to this song one month before she passed away . She had a tear in her eye knowing what was to come, but she said that courtney and the band moved her in the most beautiful way . RIP mom , you would have loved this version
I love this for the song and also those who will discover this band through this video, and think to themselves, “that was so soft and beautiful, I’ll go look at their other songs”
my best friend loved this band and he was so excited to see the direction they were going. he unfortunately passed away from suicide a few months after they released their first single “the beauty of suffering”. he would’ve cried at how beautiful this song is. I miss him every day, but I know he’s listening to them wherever he may be. I feel him with me every time I hear this band. Thank you for connecting me with my best friend again.
I listen this song before and after my Son passed away on this month, and this song make me feel love and faith everyday, All song Spiritbox give me the spirit on struggling day
The strings section blends so well with a toned down Spiritbox track.. If MTV still did the unplugged series I'd give my left arm and right leg to be there to see Spiritbox.
I'd reserve amazement for stuff that shouldn't just be expected of someone already. She SHOULD be able to do that. It shouldn't be amazing or surprising. It might be impressive but not amazing lmao words are important
Lost my dad in 2016, 3 uncles between 2016 and 2020, my mom in 2020, my aunt in 2021 and my grandma in 2021. My last aunt has dementia as well....I happened on listening to circle with me one take reactions and man the feels right now. I still have never gone back home since 2016 when my dad passed. This song broke me.
Every time I hear a Spiritbox song I need to listen to it 4 or 5 times back to back. Its rare to find band that is as beautiful as it is brutal. Brutiful? Definitely a band to follow
In 2021, Spiritbox gifted us with the most hauntingly beautiful song and now in 2022, here is, for me, the most hauntingly beautiful song I've heard this year. Almost a reprise of Constance; I hear some warmer tones in this version and it isn't simply an acoustic copy paste. Flawless musicianship.
Acoustic version of Constance was released in 2021 in autumn, even before the eternal blue came out. They just reposted this on TH-cam. But the song is damn cool
Fair enough, I wasn't aware of this and hadn't heard seen or heard the acoustic version until now hence my wording "I've heard this year". Still, thank you, I will go hunt down the acoustic version to add to my playlists.
@@СашаКороль-й7т it’s a very beautiful song, but it’s about losing her grandmother to dementia, a very heart wrenching thing. I also recently lost my grandmother to dementia and this song definitely helped me heal through the grieving process.

This is music the harder SPIRITBOX as well. Circle with me etc etc love them. Her voice is immaculate and reaches so many levels. I’m not crying you’re crying. :)
So.. i work at a store in a mall, and we're all pretty close, in a way, your co workers can kinda become family. Two years ago, one of my friends there passed away to cancer, and he was only 19. Ugh all the feels... absolute pure perfection.. and when Courtney briefly looks to the heavens while singing "when I am holding you" in the first chorus... I felt that 💔💔
It's being hard to listen to this in the last few months without being crushed because my grandma is now dealing with Alzheimer, and it's becoming worse each day. And yeah... i wasn't really understanding the heavyness of this song until now, although, it is wonderful, and spiritbox definitely has a huge part of my heart

Dear Members of Spiritbox. I'm 57 years now. This ist the song (specially the album version) I 've waited a lifetime long. Can' t done better. Ever single note and the space between is so absolut filled with all what is possible in emotion and composing. The voice with ever soulful note is as good as the instruments. Nothing left. I'm not able to find the right words because my English is to worse. So I only can say : Thank you, thank you...... That will be my funeral song
This one hit home and may be my favorite Spiritbox song. I took care of my grandpa a lot while he was suffering with Alzheimer's. I cried the first time I heard this song. Losing a loved one any way is tough, but Alzheimer's has an emotional toll that is wild. There is no morphine to give for someone who is trapped inside their own body and you know they're struggling. All you can do is hold their hand and love them as they fade away.
Courtney gave an interview where she said losing her grandma during the pandemic was hard because her grandma always said she wanted her to sing a beautiful song at her funeral, and she didn't get to do that. That makes this video so breathtakingly powerful.
this song struck deep for me. when I first heard it my grandmother had just lost her long 3 year battle with dementia. I regret not being near towards the end of her days, but as my parents get older, I promised myself that I would be around for them in their older years. to the point that as my oldest departs the world of high school and moves on to Berkley to study Physics, we will be moving within an hour of them. even now, this song still hits hard. enormous amounts of love to this band.
