Yes, it was phenomenal deal! I bought ribbons on sale and it was cheaper than dollar store and the quality is incomparable of course. Or four huge realistic picks for ten dollars is a better bargain than in any store ( I don’t have hobby lobby unfortunately)
Several years ago, when I first started watching videos and several people would have a Joann's Store on Video. And their merchandise was so Beautiful and expensive looking. But now...❗️ I appreciate Your hard work and sharing your videos with us. 🎄⛄️❣️❗️
My Joann Fabric here in Ohio. I was extremely happy with. The quality was excellent with things I bought. I felt the prices were good. But you had to get there early because things were definitely picked over.

You’ve saved me a trip to Joann’s. The closest one is about an hour’s drive from my home. I'm a big pink Christmas fan. JoAnn's don't carry any different colors. More traditional. I love the elves that Hobby Lobby carries. Maybe people are doing more online shopping??
My store is almost empty on the Christmas decor. What’s left is overpriced or not my style. I did order online some beautiful ornaments that were on sale. It was same last year as far as not much selection. I did score on clearance wrapping paper last year but nothing else. Kinda sad they’re like that. Looks like another store that’ll be gone soon. I recently read that the Joann stores that are still open are severely understaffed. Also, ‘corporate’ keeps sending merch to the stores but there aren’t enough employees to put it all out. I also heard they are undergoing bankruptcy but I don’t know if that’s what is behind all the issues. It’s so sad-Joann’s was my favorite store for years and years. Also: You have me looking for the disco ball ornaments now. I found a bag of really small ones at Michaels, but they really aren’t mirrored balls-they are plastic made to look like mirror balls. I will keep looking. I’m also thinking about doing the giant bow trend on my tree since it will be much easier than trying to get my current topper straight and lighted up properly lol.
I completely agree, Joannes has went to 🔥in a hand bag. My local store looks like a boom went off inside and it doesn’t matter the day of the week-it’s a mess. The people that work there are not interested in helping the customers and if the worker’s nice then they don’t know how to help. The last 3 visits to my local store, I had employees that reek of marijuan, had a face covered in tattoos, and all had unhygienic hair-it has been terrible experiences. I asked fellow customers for help. I’ve tried several times over the past year to order online, but the merchandise comes broken. It’s so sad. I miss the good old days when they had retired seamstresses, knitters, and crafters that ran the stores. They offered classes and demonstrations, and had a clean, organized store. I will continue to hold out hope for the return of a great Joannes, but until then I will watch you. I just wanted to add that several of the stores I have been in-At Home and Michael’s are two of them-they almost look like they’ve been looted. I think the Christmas shopping started with a frenzy this year! People get excited earlier and earlier, it seems to me. Hungry for that festive feeling. Can’t blame them.
Joann’s still has quality product but I think corporate is focusing more on online sales over their brick and mortar stores. They closed several stores in our area but they did open 2 new locations so I think at that time it was more about geographic location. I’ll say the locations that have remained open need a lot of love and investment as they are pretty old and worn down. Our Michael’s Stores could use some as well. Plus I don’t think they are paying their employees what they’re worth hence the lack of quality in the stores today.

Here’s my thoughts. Joann’s is older ladies craft store. Michael’s and Hobby Lobby are younger ladies craft stores 😂and I’m ALWAYS young at heart and I like the later two stores. Joann’s does have good stuff!! But I go in that store rarely as the visual merchandising isn’t there to get me excited or motivated. Does that make sense? 😊❤ love ya
@ sadly, their corporate culture is less than generous, including applications that note the employees need to be on call and available at short notice. My local store, partly a regional thing, has trouble keeping staff. (North of Boston)
@ArtistInNewHampshire SO many people working in corporate shouldn't be there! I guess they don't want jobs, because they always seem to do things that cause bankruptcy! The economy has been so bad these last four years in California!😮 Kirklands was bought out by bed bath and beyond and there only on line! 😮

I feel like JoAnne might be relying heavily on on-line sales. I receive the emails for discounts, but the marketing department fails to show "best items". I do enjoy going In-store to see items. Their retail pricing is killing them, just offer the product with fair pricing without gimmicks. I feel like the creative team is great. Marketing sucks. I've purchased great items here, I don't want to play finance games.

They are undergoing a bankruptcy right now, and might have trouble getting merchandise.
