DIY GT F1 Race Track Diorama for diecast scale models | Easy Build

This is one of the best diorama I have made so far. Mainly because of how it turned out in the end which was better than I expected.
It is made by using Sandpaper as Road and a small strip of it for the kerb.
Using sand paper and painting it black/dark grey adds a nice rough and realistic look.
Kesb strip is first painted white then with the help of masking tape it is painted red in some sections.
For the grass effect velvet paper is used as it's a lot cheaper than grass powder and is also easy to apply.
All three elements are then pasted on a 3mm thick PVC foam board or Sunboard.
As it is quite not strong it is reinforced with some wood strips.
At last a sponsor wall is put up and here I was thinking of adding the Emirates logo but I had those sticker printed out a long time ago and only could find the Rolex one.

You can use other logo also like Emirates, Pirelli etc. If you can find one, it is very easy to make a strip of it using MS Paint.

When i can get the escale of race track

For me it was completely random. I mainly made this for 1/43 Scale F1 models which are 5cm wide approximately so I just made sure to keep the track wide enough to fit 2 cars side by side. Length could be any according to your need.
