Yeah, you can “roll your own” attack platform. A lot of my peers do that instead of using Kali… it just saves time using Kali since a lot of tools are already installed. Great question and thanks for watching!

Great question… Burp suite has the ability to perform similar scans. Really what it comes down to is the pentester needs to understand how the tools work instead of just opening the flood gates and hammering the network or production systems.
